El Dorado Nature Center: what do users think?

Carmen Gonzalez: A friend an I recently went here, what a great place. There are 3 different trails you can choose 1/4 mile, 1 mile, and 2 miles. Most of it is a dirt trail, there is a pond in the middle. We saw lots of turtles sunbathing. There is plenty of shade from the trees. I did not go into the nature center. There are benches to sit and enjoy the serenity. Parking lot can get pretty full, but there seemed to be people coming and going so often I didn't see anyone waiting for parking.

lois lee: Playground: Children play with nearbyRestrooms: Restroom 🚻 nearbyPicnic area: Good nearby table

Pinky Gagnon: Beautiful, wonderfulRestrooms: Always kept upPicnic area: Off in a quiet place with room to run around

Lori Havrilla: So serene. Walked the 2- mile trail barefoot and got really grounded.

Jonathan Weaver: The squirrels definitely beg for food. 🤣

DeForest Park: what do users think?

Mitchell B. Ramsey: Hidden in the Bixby Knolls area, this is an enchanting place with something for everyone.

59wulf: chilll

Rosaura Morales: Such a nice hidden park, a great place to enjoy some running with my kiddos

John Shinn: Great hiking trails but be aware of less fortunate people living in tents and sometimes you may experience a couple people in a "entanglement" but good time and great area to walk paths.Restrooms: Restrooms are few and far. There is only one restroom and that is in the middle of the softball and soccer fields area. It's typical to any public park restroom bring your sanitizer wipes.

Neil Modino: Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is a nice place to relax and enjoy oneself. There are different kinds of aquatic birds from Pelican Egret Seagulls and vice versa. It's beautiful to see those birds fly and swim. The sunset is beautiful because you could really see the sun shining at you. It's enjoyable place to be and a good place to hike and just relax. If u want simplicity and tranquility. This is a good place to be.

Parking lot seemed adequate, since it was not full on the holiday weekend. Sad the state has Porta potties in front of the old restroom buildings. We really should reinvest in our public infrastructure.

Jefferson Cardona: Great park.

Anthony Hertzfeldt: I do exercise hereIt's peaceful and quietNo restroom though

Russ Arnett: Pretty and well keptDog-friendliness: Good for smaller dogs to exercisePicnic area: Nice trees and some tables. But plenty of room to set up your own

Kyle Cantrell: Would put 5 stars but unfortunately the homeless population that was an issue not long ago has damaged some of the equipment. My wife and I love the co-parent swings for little ones and parents. Glad to see sand for the kids to put their hands in. While it has some of the rubber turf it's not everywhere.Playground: Plenty of slides in all shapes and sizes, monkeybars, and chain ladder and cork screw to climb on, has a cool jeep shaped thing to climb on and play drive just make sure your little one doesn't get their finger stuck in the hole from someone melting the plastic on the steering wheel.Dog-friendliness: Open field for fetchPicnic area: Concrete picnic bench and green metal benches to sit and watch little ones play.

Jasmine Acimovic: Kids enjoy this park, and they made lots of friends!!.No restroom!!!

Vanessa: Playground: Great baby swings

Moses Velazquez: Driving by and came across this nice park. My daughter loved it. Lots of shade and swings for most ages

nancy Dean: Nice Softball game we watch while having a picnic

Madisyn Peterson: I give four stars bc it was filled with homeless people nearby on the grass area just not the most comfortable place you want to take your kid alone

Whaley Park: what do users think?

Marina Ganicheva: I don't know how you should evaluate the local community park, but this one is a rare gem.Unfortunately, the city does a really bad job maintaining Whaley like everywhere else. They removed several trees recently with no replacement, and the grass is delapidating due to excessive cutting. They need to hire people who care and know about plants.

missee doodle: Clean, nice, and quiet park to walk around for a half-mile exercise routine. Occasional soccer teams playing friendly practice games. Friendly people, nice dogs. Surrounded by beautiful trees, although some of them have recently been cut down - possibly due to tree disease. It's still a lovely park. I just love it! ❤️

Erica Blake: Great little park. Lots of shade. Huge grass area to play catch with fur babies

Ray Z: Both sides are very well kept. Hosts weekly summer concerts. Also plenty of organized sports & other activities for the entire family. Plenty of space for picnics, reunions bbqs, It's Beautiful Long Beach.

Ramirez Ramirez Bautista: Really loved the park so much things to do in the park very clean

Danielle Gershen: Baseball field is great and well maintained. Playground is new and fun for all ages.Playground: Fun and safe for all agesDog-friendliness: Lots of grass for dogs. But watch for coyotes near the riverbed

Caroline L: Playground: Fun Park, even for older kids

Lisa: Very cute park great for young kids!

The Good Guy of LA Moses G: Really nice and 👍 good atmosphere
