Casey Culkin: Fiona was amazing 😍

Milad Gilani: Friendly girls' bartenders, but not the guys' bartenders. I was for karaoke night on Sunday. I'm overall happy.

Geeanna T.: Every single person working there was so friendly. I loved the biscuits and gravy. It was a lot of food, we could have split it. My husband got the chilaquiles, and that was also fantastic. The steak on that dish was excellent. They have a unique list of strong cocktails. There is plenty to take in decoration wise. The DJ at brunch was a great addition too. I'd love to go back.

Jason: Solidly unspectacular. Would prob be a top tier bar in most towns. I feel like bars around here have caught up to and passed up werewolf though. Super friendly staff though!

James Gillis: While in town for business, the Wife was craving a "good" burger. Which means it does not need to be fancy just tasty. And the Werewolf delivered! She had the Kiss burger, the flavor hit hard. They know how to do it. I had the garlic ginger wings, sticky and amazing....that dojo sauce.....I could eat that on everything. I can't forget about the drinks, had a couple of the menu and they did not disappoint. If we are ever in SD again, we are stopping here. Might even need to make a special road trip out. Specials shot out to Fiona for the great service!!YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE

Aishwarya S: , and of course drinks was lip smacking delicious. Highly recommend as a date night spot or just a night out with the ladies if you’d like.

Renata Cayton: We were famished and stumbled upon this place during happy hour and couldn't ask for a better place. Food was absolutely delicious, and drinks were on point. The wagyu burger and beer combo was a very good deal. The game sausage was well made and exploded with flavor when eaten with grain mustard and pickles.Definitely a place to bring people to impress.

Tiffany Oda: Cocktail: Bitter Tears

Allie Lamb: My favorite restaurant in the city. Food is incredible, atmosphere is chic. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Always feel taken care of here. Can’t go wrong.

Brenden Garvin: A must see if you're in san diego.I mean must. One of the best places for food and cocktails and superbly underrated and best cocktails in the city

johnny meow: Place had really interesting art and great happy hour from 4-6. And a late night happy hour too! After 11 i think.Vegetarian options: The potato sliders are bomb.

Juston Erwin: We recently visited with a wedding gift card. We aren't generally big spenders at restaurants but we have no regrets about this one. We had never been prior and we had a pretty wonderful experience overall. We did get a variety of things from all over the menu. Definitely enjoyed everything we got.The server was very nice and gave us some legitimately helpful tips about ordering. For example, the 22 oz steak that we ordered would take a decent amount of time to prepare. The waitress was ready available when needed and we constantly had fresh food in front of us without anything piling up.We of course had dessert and everything was delicious. I do wish the carrot cake had more actual cake to it. It was delicious regardless. The pineapple matcha ice cream was absolutely delicious and very unique. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. It has a very rustic but modern feel. I didn't find my chair to be that comfortable. I think the back was angled back a little bit too much.

Kylie Ozols: !!Things I recommend:“Bites”section, the yellowtail tostada, smoked rolls and squash blossoms are always a favorite of mine.“Small Plates” section, the Japanese Sweet Potatoes and the Ravioli

Jessica Miller: The food was amazing. The service was a little slow, but everything we ordered was delicious. I would go back to try more things.Parking: Paid valet

Leo Deng: So delicious!!!!! I would definitely come back again! The price vs the food is such a good balance. The duck is on top of my entre list.

Michelle Fitzgerald: Great experience. The staff is elegant friendly. Imagine sitting outside and having all your tastebuds satisfied because plate after plate his every flavor in your palette. That’s what this experience was. The only person I remember was Alex as he was personally showing his love for the menu items. Great place for sure, it felt like home away from home right in the center of north park. Was quiet yet lots of people- watching. Will definitely be back and if you haven’t been here, I highly recommend this place. It I could I would give 10 stars. Google - do your thing and put this restaurant at the top on he search for “best places to eat in north park”. Thanks for the experience SMOKING GOAT!!Parking: It’s in a neighborhood, there’s plenty of parking and even if there isn’t, it’s worth the walk!!

Andrew: I miss this place so much! Seriously the best food in SD and some of the best I’ve ever had. On another level for sure. I’m writing this while paying at another restaurant lmao. Every time I go out to eat somewhere else I wish I just went to Trust 😭.

Suishmitaa Srianand: . The portion size is particularly small for this dish but we were warned by the waitress beforehand so we knew what to expect. The chicken sandwich was nice and juicy.Cons: For a brunch place, the only coffee option they had was the drip coffee. So if you're looking for a nice cup of latte or espresso or cappuccino, you won't find it here.

Crater Lake Resort: Place had a swanky and very cool vibe. I would’ve surely loved it had they had a seat at the bar. Don’t get me wrong there was plenty of space at the bar. Just no seats left. Which was weird. Since it was a bar for super short folks or people who like to sit on the floor or people lucky enough to have a seat, I had no other option than to beat feet to the next purveyor of fine spirits.

Derek Shelton: This place will surprise you. The bill was decent. Feeling here is similar to a place in Columbus I liked.

armando rosales: good wings n good fried pickes!

Yogi: This place was awesome! The drinks were incredible with great views of the Gaslamp quarter in action. Spent a few hours just taking in the experience. There motto is "come early and stay late" well... We did that. The fried calamari was tender-licious best salad, i have ever tasted 🤤🤤Thanks for the great service⚡⚡✊🏾

Andrew Sallabank: We had lunch here and it was absolutely amaaaaazzzzing! 🤩🤗 Really tasty fresh dishes. We tried the shrimp taco, and the chicken burger and both were so good. I'd 100% visit again and the service was friendly and attentive!

Gonzalo Córdova: Food is not bad, service is quite nice, but it's overpriced. More dessert options would be desirable.

Faruk Baskopru: 2nd time here and I just keep coming back every time Im in SD. The food is amazing and so is the service!

Ironside Fish & Oyster: what do users think?

Young Kim: in Little ItalyA bohemian restaurantThere are many people enjoying cocktails at the bar.The atmosphere tooFood tooService tooAchieve beautiful harmonycrowded with peopleA restaurant that feels aliveThe price is highBut a place that bows to value

Ram: I would definitely recommend this restaurant for seafood lovers.I had an issue with the customer service before, but when I contacted the manager name Sergio Rosas, he took care of it.And the server name Kyle was really nice and kind. Before I got out from the restaurant, I made a reservation for a big group of people. That's much how I was happy with the service.Thank you for the great hospitality and wonderful experience.

Hyeju Yang: It's a restaurant famous for its oysters, but since we can't eat oysters, we ate clam chowder soup, lobster roll, and grilled octopus. The food was of high quality, so I was very satisfied with the meal! Recommended

Evan Ph: 4.5 stars to be exact. Big, beautiful room with solid service. Great happy hour with good value and great fresh oysters. Nice beer selection too. The %&#! on a shell though had a very odd spicy element to it...not too much for the mouth to handle but stayed lingering in your chest in a heartburn type way, which I never get. I'll skip those next time. Wanted to try the octopus which looked great but was told that menu ended at 3:00. It was 3:01 when I inquired with maybe 7 people in the whole restaurant mid-week. Maybe think about 60 seconds of flexibility guys lol. The food runner also couldn't describe anything and made up where the oysters were from. Not the best look. All in all, though a place I would go again.

Evie Ha: A friend recommended this place and it was great! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch! The oysters were super delicious, probably the freshest I've ever had! The octopus was amazingly tender too. The bone marrow was a bit too rich for my taste, though. The service was fantastic as well! And last but not least they don’t have parking lot.

Jose Mercado: Ironside Fish & Oyster, situated a stone's throw from the lively Piazza della Famiglia, offers a delightful dining experience in Little Italy. The ambience is fantastic - a tastefully renovated warehouse with quirky, nautical touches that sets the mood for a fun and flavorful meal. The focus here, as the name suggests, is on fresh seafood. Locals rave about the lobster roll, and for good reason. It's packed with succulent lobster meat, perfectly dressed and bursting with flavor. But my personal favorite was the octopus a la plancha. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, cooked to perfection, and the chorizo added a delicious smokey depth that elevated the dish.If you're looking for a drink to complement your meal, Ironside doesn't disappoint. They boast a great selection of cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Little Italy. And for those who prefer a brew, there's a solid list of local beers on tap.Overall, Ironside Fish & Oyster is a fantastic spot for a delicious seafood meal in a vibrant setting. The friendly atmosphere, coupled with the top-notch cuisine and drinks, makes it a great choice for both locals and visitors alike.

Top of the Market - San Diego: what do users think?

Deborah DeLisi: . It was flavorful, moist, and bursting with freshness and tanginess, devoid of the heavy breadcrumb filler that plagues lesser versions. One bite was simply not enough—I found myself yearning for seconds! For the main course, I chose the scallop entree, and it was also exquisite. Each scallop was a testament to freshness and skillful preparation. Accompanied by fried mushrooms that defy description—reminiscent of shoestring potatoes but with an earthy twist—every component of the dish was executed flawlessly. The sheer size of the scallops left me unable to finish all four—a testament to their generous proportions. The Brussels sprouts were a revelation in themselves, showcasing Chef James' mastery of flavors and textures. Against a backdrop of crisp white linens and an extensive wine selection, the dining experience exuded an air of sophistication and elegance. Our server, Jonas, guided us through the menu with expert knowledge and attentiveness, offering great recommendations that enhanced our meal. And let's not forget the breathtaking views—the sight of sailboats gliding across the water lent an enchanting ambiance to an already unforgettable meal. When making your reservation, be sure it's for Top of the Market, and not the more casual Fish Market downstairs. Despite the hour-long drive, I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit to Top of the Market.Parking: Valet parking in front of the restaurant is $15 for 3 hours, which is reasonable for a busy area.

troy grote: Ruth Chris screwed up our reservationAnd I called top of the market last min on a Friday night. The manager sneaked us in , she even gave us a table with the best view. Service was on point he was an excellent server. Food was greatIt was my wife’s 53rd birthday and our 30th anniversary

Khalid: Took my wife here for our anniversary, and the experience was impeccable.First, we reserved a table for the outdoor deck, but due to rain I called in advanced worried about our table. I found out they had already moved us inside to the indoor 'balcony'.While I was on the phone, Susan asked me if I'd like to have the menu customized. Thinking it was something small - I said of course. When we arrived to the restaurant, we were greeted with an anniversary card and our menus were titled with our names, wishing us a happy anniversary. It was lovely! While waiting for our food, my wife was getting a bit cold from a draft. Susan quickly made an adjustment to stop the draft, but then also brought my wife a blanket just in case.Lastly, the actual food was incredible. Our server Sam made great recommendations and was incredibly friendly. Our dinner included the crab cake, surf and turf special, and the halibut - all incredible. For dessert, we were stuck selecting an option, but were suddenly surprised with a gift of the smores cake from the team at Top of the Market, for our special event.Truly a great experience - I'll be looking for any excuse to return.

Karina Contreras: If you are thinking about celebrating your anniversary, this is the place, they are the most attentive, full of details. We celebrated our 26 years there watching the sun go down, it was beautiful. We made a reservation for the anniversary and they treated us like kings. Thank you very much, family, it is a beautiful memory!!! 💜💜 Salvador &karina

YH Wang: The atmosphere and meals are very goodIf the weather is cold, it is better to sit inside!

David: Great food, service and views. The octopus was the standout dish.Recommended dishes Grilled Spanish Octopus …

Dianne Thorpe: Best restaurant I have eaten at in San Diego. We went here for thanksgiving dinner and it was the best decision we made. The drinks were great. The food was top notch for holiday menu and the service was impeccable. My friend who is not a fan of dining out and eating at above average restaurants was very impressed and enjoyed our time and experience. From now on this will be put Thanksgiving tradition to have dinner here. Keep up the awesome job!

Karma Bass: I had the beef cheeks at the waiter's recommendation and they were delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and we got the vegetables to share which were also delicious. We will definitely dine here again!

Michael Bengochea: The cons are it's really loud and the high chairs are uncomfortable. It's like were older people go instead of the club. I was unsure about coming here but the food is seriously amazing. Every single dish was way better than it should have been. We got baba ghanoush which was great and creamy. We had a pork belly dish, it was great. My wife had the gnocchi, I got a wagyu steak and we took a pizza home. All fantastic.

Lizzy Perruzzi: We've come here twice, once with friends and once for an anniversary dinner! It's a nice place with very high quality food and drinks!Parking: Cost of street parking varies based on time of day. Valet is a reasonable price.

Michael Kieval: , and a sophisticated and well-curated wine and cocktail program. Service was really very good. Food was enjoyable, and the menu impressive, 4.5 stars for the price.Vibe is corporate trying fairly well to be hip.Would definitely return.

Tom Keller: Based purely on the vast differences of cuisine choices this is an easy repeat location. Atmosphere was open and inviting, modem but sophisticated. Glass Window Kitchen in the back provided all the right vibes.Looked at the desserts but could not indulge after such a filling and appetizing meal. Will repeat! Great job yet again, Brian!

Brittany Scalise: . It was the vegetarian main course on the current menu, but was well rounded and tasty! We got a side of truffle Brussel sprouts that honestly stole the show - perfectly crispy. I don’t know how they do it!!My partner ordered the sizzling meat

Gio Ehrig: . They gave us a little cheesecake for my friend's birthday which was sooo yummy. The food was tasty but you have to have a hefty wallet for this place I think, you just kinda have to expect that because you're paying for the experience too. Overall, it was nice but I don't think I NEED to come again.Parking: The restaurant itself does not offer parking so you'll have to find it on the street, meaning you may have a bit of a walk. My friends and I found parking decently fast, but we had to walk about a quarter mile so it's not a deal breaker just something to keep in mind.Wheelchair accessibility: I would say that it is possible but not very easily.

Dom: Hodad’s is the place-to-be for burger fans! 🍔🔥Here you can get super tasty burgers at really fair prices 💯What's really cool: The store itself has style - there are stickers everywhere that give the whole thing a unique vibe 🙌🏽The service at the table is super friendly 👌🏽When we're back in town, a visit to Hodad's is definitely a must. Highly Recommended! 😎👍🏽

Keith LaFreniere: A true gem! Absolutely the best burger I've had in a long time! I could barely get my mouth around this beast! Also you have to try the onion rings, fantastic! And a rarity these days, everything is very reasonably priced! Lastly, the service was awesome! Only thing I didn't love about this place, was the how loud the music was, makes it tough to converse, so if you don't like it really loud, better get it to go. This is now a must stop on my visits to SD, wish there was one in Phx! Hint hint to the owner.

Michael “TheMartz23” Martz: Haven’t even got my food yet and I’m giving it 5 stars. Hole in the wall, great music, great environment, great service, large portions from what I can tell.

Eric DeLong: First let me say the onion rings were great, crunchy and thick. My vanilla malt milkshake was bomb! Being a burger joint though, I gotta rate it on that.... and I was left wanting. The portions are big, you won't go hungry! For me the burger wasn't worth the hype. The patties seemed either over worked or previously frozen.... and for this price?! Which is my next point... it's a little pricey.... but this is Cali so..... worth a try!
