Queen Jenn: Service was okay. I came during Covid when you weren’t allowed in so thought to come back. It wasn’t too busy. The boil itself was good. The calamari was seasoned and cooked perfectly but Customer service could be better. Was good as leftovers. Harry Williams: Originally from the Bay area and have been looking for a good seafood boil place other than the standard boiling crab. First time we went we had Andrew as our waiter and he was wonderful.Our next time in, Andrew was not there, unfortunately. However another male waiter was there and he was not very attentive or helpful. We had a sauce the first time, recommended by Andrew that was great. When we mentioned this to the other waiter he recommended the wrong sauce. I understand mistakes happen, but we asked for the right sauce and he was not apologetic or anything, and also charged us for it.We will go back again, but will make sure Andrew is working.

They have pretty good food but, if you're not eating heavy most of the small meals and baskets are fried options. If you're trying to eat healthy not many veggies maybe just corn or potatoes in a crab boil. All in all a decent place to grab seafood in the evening. I didn't like that cagey weren't available for lunch hours. Jesse Coronado: I came here in 2019 and had their clam chowder. It was the best clam chowder I had ever had. I was disappointed to find that they did away with the presentation and quality of this dish in 2024. This was one of my biggest reasons to come back to Sacramento. Probably won't go out of my way to come back but the food was still good. Pretty sad to hear they did away with this amazing dish. Rest of the food was good but nothing to write home about. Calamari was a little chewy and under seasoned only had appetizers.

Jasmin Look: I ordered the Grilled Shrimp and Avocado Salad. At the kiosk it asks if you want “extra avocado for $1.50” or “no thank you” It was delicious but came without avocado so that’s a bummer, it’s advertised as a “Grilled shrimp and Avocado salad” They have a selection of “craft sodas” which is nice. The salad and drink came to $18.58, so over $20 if you get avocado. I’m going to try more dishes and update my review.

I am a cook and im totally stealing this concept. Brilliant.The rest of the menu seems standard. I had the fish and chips combo. Fish, nothing special, just OK. Tarter sauce comes Pre-packaged single serving. Guys......MAKE YOUR OWN IN-HOUSE tarter sauce. Could only be better than what you are serving. And could elevate the taste and compliment the fish. DO IT. . Fries are on the upside of good. But eat them warm. Pretty eclectic outdoor seating. Y I ur food served on mid-size sheet pans to take to patio. GENIOUS. I am stealing that too. I soon wanted to love the coconut shrimp but they burned the outside coconut coating. No way to fix that.

MOE JARADAT: Not to miss rate this nice restaurant, me personally not a big fan of ordering through a kiosk while 3 employees are hanging behind the counter, for that being said, the restaurant has clean modern image. With good help from the staff offering help in learning how to order. The food came out in a timely manner. Vic: My first time coming here to crab city I was blown away! Let me start by saying as we walked in we was seated super fast and our waitress was super nice and friendly! She was very helpful with helping me order food as it was my first time here! Food came out quick and let me say it was amazing! Everything we ordered was super fresh! My favorite was the Tiffany sauce wings!! They are amazing! 🤩 all the food we order tasted super fresh and tasty! I was able to meet the owner Richard and he was super friendly and nice! I told him he would be seeing me more often at his restaurant and I’m a hour way from Sacramento coming from the Bay Area! Oh and the best part is there prices on the liquor and food! American Angler: Picked up Ol Joe Grabberbox at the Kaiser there, because he cut his finger off playin with a meat grinder. He kept telling me how good that sausage was going to be before his finger became part of the mix...he said "You think anyone will know, because I'm not just throwin it away"Let's get some fish and chips on the way back...the Railroad Fish & Chips is just up the way, we'll whip on in and snag some lunch....the Railroad Fish & Chips is the best! R Sandhu: Its good restaurant among others in Sacramento. Ambience is nice but very compact overall. I would have said great if they didn't have added meat to my vegetarian food. They customized our personal menu with anniversary wishes on them which is was lovely.But I was bit disappointed when they served me salad with shaved meet.They did apologize for making a mistake but I wasn't expecting it from a high end restaurant that created personalized menu day before we went there. Although food was delicious. But again It could have been better.Vegetarian options: They have certain amount of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: You can let them know about your dietary restrictions and they'll probably cook accordingly or suggest some dishes that would be the best fit for you.
Jon Phenix: I've had my fair share of excellent dining experiences, from hole-in-the-walls to critically acclaimed restaurants, and Allora easily tops them all. The food is both provocatively artful and exquisitely delicious - a surprisingly rare combination among high-end restaurants. The wine tasting is superbly paired with the courses. The service was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was outstanding. I can't think of a single aspect of the experience that was anything less than perfect.

Miriam Carlinbryan: What a lovely experience! My husband got gifted a "hospitality experience" and after a lot of research we decided to go to Allora. I am so glad we did, because every course was better than the last. You get to chose each of your 4 courses, but they also bring out a small bite before, shortly after you sit down as well as in the middle and at the end. So really you are getting 7 different courses. The server was very knowledgeable about each of the dishes and ensured that my shellfish allergy was a non-issue. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal. Every detail down to the branded ice cube was perfect. Nothing was missed. This truly was a hospitality experience and we will be back! We sat on the patio, and it did not even feel like we were outside. There were heaters and it was covered. There was a lot more space vs inside. Both great vibes but outside was more intimate and quiet. I highly recommend!!!Dietary restrictions: The server was very knowledgeable about each of the dishes and ensured that my shellfish allergy was a non-issue. Everyone was aware and I never had to mention it after making the reservation.

We were taken to our table by the host and then almost immediately we had a server taking care of us. The service was amazing, well orchestrated to make sure the dinners were taken care at all time. The cocktails were elevated, some of the best I have had in Sac. We had the four course meal. All plates were amazing. All of them were flavorful, complex, plentiful, and visually appealing. We did the wine pairing, which was spot on. This was certainly an experience for all the senses. Dessert was amazing and the doughnuts were super soft and well balanced. The decor of the place is elegant. The patio area is super nice. I was scared about temperature but they have taken care of that so nice that it did not distract from the whole experience. Prices are high, but I think well justified given the experience. Also, we were there for a birthday celebration and they made the experience unique. Overall, a great restaurant with amazing food and excellent service.Parking: Parked on the street. May be difficult, did not see a parking lot dedicated to the restaurant.

Alisa Takeuchi: A bit disappointed the atmosphere of this brand has changed. There used to be high standards and a dress code and all of that was part of the experience. You pay a lot of money and there is an expectation that it is a special occasion and fancy. Unfortunately, there were patrons in shorts, t-shirts, a body suit with daisy Duke shorts which was completely inappropriate and no one said a thing. It actually lessened our experience. The food is what it is. It's nothing special that other restaurants offer, but when you say you're going to Ruth's Chris, there's should be something special. They've lowered the standards and so I don't think we'll be back.
Tim Castleman: First time to visit Ruth's Chris we ordered the Porterhouse for two, Sweet Potato Casserole and Asparagus sides. By the time we had been seated and bread was on the table no less than three people had attended us and the service continued through the meal. The beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the sweet potato casserole doubled as a side AND desert. The asparagus was good enough that we wished there had been more! The ambiance was pleasant and not noisy. The overall experience proves the adage, you get what you pay for and we took a large portion of beef home. Be advised parking may be hard to find, we ended up on the west side in the Fidelty parking lot.

Being fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a place like this for no specific reason. Our server Was absolutely a real joy to be with. Her level of hospitality and expertise was remarkable. Their steak sandwich is heaven with garlic bread, tender slices of filet, mignon, and a delicious Bearnaise sauce and is served with a cup of fries. Their cheesecake is a simple, dense, flavorful cheesecake with sour cream layer on top. It doesn't need any frills or gimmicks and is served with seasonal berries on the side.

Sean O'Brien: Anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars is an A-hole. Best fish and chips I've had in Sacramento and maybe anywhere. Got to be top 3 of all places I've ever been and yes I've been to London. First time here. I wolfed it down so fast I burned my mouth. This food is made with love. I'll be back. Maybe the portions are not massive but the price is superb for the quality and quantity. Spot on perfect.

Circa2846: Sacramento has a lot of small mom and pop fish and chips shops. This one stands out.Near the busy corner of Fulton and Cottage, Ocean is tiny, and easily missed, but worth finding. It's neat and clean and their food, from a basic fish-based menu, is delicious. They also serve house-made teriyaki and, surprisingly, hamburgers.Regulars keep coming back for delicious food, good prices, prompt service, and a friendly greeting. Try Ocean soon.

It was mother's day and we had just waited 30 minutes at a restaurant next door for water and rude service so we left and our friend Tracy said this was her fav spot years ago and she loved it. On arrival the host was friendly and accommodating and changed the mood instantly She sat 6 of us in the bar area immediately with a huge smile.No sooner than we sat down and got our waters immediately,the owner came and moved us to a table overlooking the river views. Beautiful! The food and service here is only surpassed by the entrance which is an actual airline gate. It leads you all the way down to the entrance. Cool as you know what. Great vibe andon the way out thank the bartender because he is old school and makes a mean martini!

Cynthia Cooper: I had the veal with garlic butter, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Food presentation was blah. No color. It was good but more seasonings were needed. I believe everyone enjoyed their meal.Parking: It's a mall parking lot so parking can be a challenge to find. My party got lucky getting spots close to the door.
Myriam Liliana Ruiz Botero: It is a good place where the menu to choose comes with the amount of calories of the chosen dish, it is a good option for those who take care of this aspect; It also has an option of delicious desserts in a very appropriate size; You have to be very careful with meals that contain salmon, since 2 of the people I was dining with were poisoned, both dishes contained salmon.
