Nappa82: I had been meaning to try this restaurant out for a while now and I should have come sooner. The food is amazing. I walked in and was greeted by the owner who is really nice and a gentleman behind the counter took my order and fried it right there who was also a pleasure to talk to.The portions are generous. The fish is well seasoned and perfectly fried. The french fries are potato cut fries with the skin on. They have quite the assortment of fish to choose from and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I also snagged up some hand pies and the apple pie is great.I'll definitely be coming here again.

Days Made New With Keeks Key: Recommended dishes Wings and Fries, Catfish Nuggets, Fish Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot, Free street parking

Pastor Lonzo Powell: The food was really good. I will say the fries tasted great however there was no crispiness to the outside at all whatsoever it was just soft fries.Parking: And parking is very very limited.

Jessie C Love: Pleasant service. Quick. Fresh. Nice portion. I forgot to ask if the greens are cooked with turkey or pork, though. The menu doesn't specify this information.I ordered softly cooked catfish, but the plates weren't marked. Since we both ordered the same, I ended up having medium cooked fish that evening. It was good, just not what I ordered for my meal. I'm told my order was delicious, hence, the five stars. The fried okra was good. The pie treat was nice. There are notices to check your food order before you leave, but it's packed and handed to you out the door. I'm not sure how they expect customers to check it prior to exiting... Perhaps I'll try the buffallo and something else unusual next time.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a little steep for wheelchairs and walkers. Be very careful. There is a nonslip mat on the ground, but still be mindful.

American Angler: Picked up Ol Joe Grabberbox at the Kaiser there, because he cut his finger off playin with a meat grinder. He kept telling me how good that sausage was going to be before his finger became part of the mix...he said "You think anyone will know, because I'm not just throwin it away"Let's get some fish and chips on the way back...the Railroad Fish & Chips is just up the way, we'll whip on in and snag some lunch....the Railroad Fish & Chips is the best! His whole hand was wrapped up tight, and I asked him what finger got cut off...he said "the good one...my Bangin finger...don't know if Annie's going to be mad or happy about it"Man-O-Man those fish and taters sure were good! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Michael Knight: Railroad Fish and Chips in Old Town Sacramento is a must-visit if you're craving a satisfying basket of fish and chips. While it may not be the absolute best I've ever had, it certainly ranks high on my list. The breading on the fish was impeccably crispy and bursting with flavor, while the fish itself remained delightfully moist. The fries, cooked to order, were the perfect accompaniment and hit the spot just right. Surprisingly, the standout for me was the tartar sauce - incredibly flavorful and the perfect complement to the meal. Whether you're looking for a quick bite between shopping sprees or simply craving some classic comfort food, Railroad Fish and Chips is sure to hit the spot.

michael horn: are exquisite maybe ask for more salt but hey ho The fish/batter is just amazing. And the fish is 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍When u order u might want to add an extra sauce cos that's so good you need more than one tub. Atmosphere is different 🤔 so 4 but it's better than most chippies in UK. This is a unique restaurant and so worth a visit.

Julie Perata: I just have to say, I was only in town for a work meeting and this was a 10 minute walk in the downtown area. OmG, the yuzu poke was so delicious! To quote my co worker and dining companion, "I could drink the sauce".I'm going back in 2 weeks when I'm back in town.

Russell Kidd: . But I'll be back regardless! It's that good

Jasmin Look: I ordered the Grilled Shrimp and Avocado Salad. At the kiosk it asks if you want “extra avocado for $1.50” or “no thank you” It was delicious but came without avocado so that’s a bummer, it’s advertised as a “Grilled shrimp and Avocado salad” They have a selection of “craft sodas” which is nice. The salad and drink came to $18.58, so over $20 if you get avocado. I’m going to try more dishes and update my review.

Devonna Myers: is nothing short of AMAZING, just remember to ask for the sauce/dressing, because it is served dry . Ask for the sauce, you won't be sorry. I am a cook and im totally stealing this concept. Brilliant. The rest of the menu seems standard. I had the fish and chips combo. Fish, nothing special, just OK. Tarter sauce comes Pre-packaged single serving. Guys......MAKE YOUR OWN IN-HOUSE tarter sauce. Could only be better than what you are serving. And could elevate the taste and compliment the fish. DO IT. . Fries are on the upside of good. But eat them warm. Pretty eclectic outdoor seating. Y I ur food served on mid-size sheet pans to take to patio. GENIOUS. I am stealing that too. I soon wanted to love the coconut shrimp but they burned the outside coconut coating. No way to fix that.

Michael W.: California Fish Grill is one of the restaurants I like the most. They have food I feel healthy to eat, and they're delicious and reasonably priced. The cashiers are very friendly, and the self-service order kiosks are convenient and easy to understand. I like both of their indoor and outdoor dining areas. They're clean and comfortable.Parking: The parking lot is busy. But I never have problems getting a parking space.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly

rat anguiano: Kid-friendliness: My daughter and I went there for her birthday and had a great time the Arden one. Brandi came to wish my daughter happy birthday! We had a great time and will be back. The food and service was awesome!Recommended dishes Fish and Chips, Calamari …

MOE JARADAT: Not to miss rate this nice restaurant, me personally not a big fan of ordering through a kiosk while 3 employees are hanging behind the counter, for that being said, the restaurant has clean modern image. With good help from the staff offering help in learning how to order. The food came out in a timely manner. Hot , fresh, and tasty. Not so much for the so-called coleslaw...fresh greens, however extremely dry. After all, we had an ok meal.

Sean O'Brien: Anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars is an A-hole. Best fish and chips I've had in Sacramento and maybe anywhere. Got to be top 3 of all places I've ever been and yes I've been to London. First time here. I wolfed it down so fast I burned my mouth. This food is made with love. I'll be back. Maybe the portions are not massive but the price is superb for the quality and quantity. Spot on perfect.

Olen Sanders: The fish was hot, crisp, and so delicious. This is going to be my spot for Fish & Chips. The ability to order a single piece of fish with chips is so appreciated; I'm not a big eater and this allowed me to get a portion that fit my appetite. On my second lunch visit I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it was fantastic. This is clearly a small, family owned restaurant and they couldn't be more gracious, kind, and welcoming.

Circa2846: Sacramento has a lot of small mom and pop fish and chips shops. This one stands out.Near the busy corner of Fulton and Cottage, Ocean is tiny, and easily missed, but worth finding. It's neat and clean and their food, from a basic fish-based menu, is delicious. They also serve house-made teriyaki and, surprisingly, hamburgers.Regulars keep coming back for delicious food, good prices, prompt service, and a friendly greeting. Try Ocean soon.

Jo Reyes: Love this place! So many choices and whatever I order is always delicious and freshly made to order. The owners always greet you when you walk in and the service is excellent ♥️Kid-friendliness: Good kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Public parking w accessibility

Precious Pearl: Need I say this is the best fish and chips in the city! The sad part of our visit was the store had been vandalized not once but twice... Windows have been knocked out but yet customer service was top-notch and the food was absolutely delicious. It's sad that people today cannot run and honest wholesome business without some clown or clowns making life hard for them.

Marilyn H Grimshaw: Ate in instead of pickup. Ordered Prawns and chips. Prawns were covered with a really thick batter and chips were ok. Got one very small package of salt and one of Malt vinegar. Sat at a small bare table and it rocked when sitting at it and a chair which had very little room between it and the table. Service was negligible and begrudging.
