D Lo: Alyxandria Abel, PT DPT is an amazing, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and trustworthy doctor.After a car accident and sustaining injuries that persisted over the years, I needed to find a doctor that was patient enough to help educate me in what I was experiencing and how to heal.I have been seeing her for the past year and have made more progress with her then any other doctor I’ve seen over 5 years!She truly gets to know her patients and seeks the necessary research to provide a holistic and functional treatment plan.I am so grateful I found her.
Liza Stephanian: This place is fantastic! My dad went through two major spinal surgeries within the span of 3 days at the Memorial Care hospital in Fountain Valley. He was in so much pain and couldn't move afterwards. We assumed he'd get transferred to a regular skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation. Thank goodness that didn't happen. Luckily, his amazing surgeon Dr. Gvozdyev knew the rehab doctor, Dr. Koh here at the Memorial Care Rehabilitation Institute in Long Beach and recommended my dad's transfer. In just under 3 weeks, my dad's care team revived him and got him back on his feet! He is 76 years old and what the professionals at this rehab did for him is nothing short of outstanding. The program is intensive. He was seen by a physical, occupational and speech therapist for an hour each a day, six days a week. It would have been impossible to find another program like this. We saw results so quickly! I highly recommend this facility if you can get in. I'm so thankful for it.

Sharon Gomez: I drove by this place several times before deciding to see what the building was. I was surprised to see that it was an adult rehabilitation center. After knowing what the building was, I expected it to be surrounded by vagrants. However, it isn't despite the fact that it located in an area where there is a strong homeless population.Please like if you agree with my post😀.

Hector OG: Was transferred here from College Medical Center after being in a coma for 2 1/2 weeks. In July of 2016 they gave me physical therapy learned to walk again and I was discharged mid August. anthony rodriguez: I’m in a very hard time in my life dealing with my brother overdosing I wanted to find a good place for him to stay at to recover from his addiction and mental health. I've called multiple places and no one seems to care or want to help unless it has to do with money. Thankfully I ran in to Sarah pannell you could tell she loved her job and helping people she was what I needed at this moment in my life she went above and beyond to help me find a place for him. Unfortunately they did not accept medical but that did not stop her from going out of her way and helping me find a place for my brother. She is an angel she is what this world needs if your reading this thank you again words cannot describe how I feel you gave me a sense of direction while others turned away. You are amazing and the world is lucky to have someone like you!. She definitely deserves a raise thanks Sarah you were great help I hope you have an amazing life I wish you nothing but the best you deserve it!. My decision was based on the outcomes of their multiple programs for individuals struggling with substance use and many other mental conditions. I completed a residential program and needed to follow up my treatment with an Intensive Outpatient Program if I planned on having any real success at maintaining my recovery and staying sober. Roots through Recovery has a fresh innovative approach to addressing addiction and mental health issues. They are a breath of fresh air in the community. The facility is clean, the staff is professional and will pay special attention to your individual needs. I love this place, I honestly know that I would not be sober today if I hadn’t picked up the phone and called Roots. I’m able to be the wife, mother and grandmother that my family deserves. I will forever be grateful to this program.

They saw a need for their patients experiencing chronic pain and brought me on board to work with them. Pamela Jophryn-Avila: I arrived and was greeted by a receptionist in the lobby. With a warm smilr she provided me with the directions and details to get to my visit. The halls were clean, and free of trash and trays. The staff appeared friendly and helpful. I noticed there were no board with the names of the RN, LVN, CNA, and doctor for the day. Usually fresh water is passed out, I did not see no water pitcher or cup near bedside. I hope this infomation will be helpful and it will help the other visitors in the near future as well.
Kevin Jones: I visited a friend today at your facility and the reception area personnel were wonderful. The facility was clean, no bad odors that are common to convalescence residents. I was very impressed.

I asked which nurse he likes best and he said, "All of them!". The staff communicates with me regarding his progress even when he gained a few extra pounds. When I call they with a question they do not hesitate to get my question answered. Overall the experience here has been exceptional.
