Susan Landau: Theodore is a rare find. He is true professional and a lovely man. He tuned and repaired our piano. Theodore did an initial inspection where he was completely honest about what would be required and what might necessitate extra work while the repairs were being done and what it would cost. I don't often go from reviews to hire someone but the reviews about how excellent Theodore was, were not exaggerated. If you need someone who is knowledgeable, honorable and thorough for your piano needs, you will be thrilled you hired this gentleman!

Cizi Si: Theodore is a great piano repairman. He unjammed my entire piano action in less than a minute. I spent hours trying to get it loose after accidentally jamming it, diagonally, against 3 bolts and the frame. He fixed a key and improved several others, fixed 3 felts, and fixed all 3 of my pedals. He was very informative and taught me several things. My piano is over 70 years old. He did all of this in under an hour, on the same day that I initially called. If/when I have any more piano problems, I'm calling this guy. 10/10

Laura Ely: I have had several piano tuners out to service my baby grand piano because of various mechanical issues, including notes that continued to stick and the very tight action that made it hard to play for any long length of time- none were able to permanently correct the issue, that is until I had Chris Carranza work on the piano I wanted a tuner who actually played the piano so he would understand the problems. Chris is a delightful pianist. He spent time talking to me about the problems i had with the piano before he started and then showed me the steps he was taking to resolve those and the other problems he discovered as he went along. Despite the fact that I think he found more issue than he bargained for, he honored the price he initially gave me to look at the piano and also helped me to decide what issues where most important to focus on so that I would enjoy playing the piano again. Chris did a wonderful job, he is a direct and honest person and enjoys what he does. I highly recommend Chris to anyone.

No fate but what we make: If you've got an old guitar lying around your home that needs some loving attention ... and who doesn't?.....bring it on down to LB Guitar Repair before it's too late! Whatever it needs, they can fix it. Guillermo and John are busy as beavers and will suggest the best way to restore that old guitar to its former glory and performability... or even better. John just installed a new bridge and tailpiece on my 80's Tokai LP and did a fantastic job, including a top and crown and set-up. Plays like butter! I've been taking my guitars there for almost 20 years because I know they know what they're doing and will get the job done right. They've also got a room full of guitars on consignment and offer lessons, too! And a great selection of picks, strings, consignment pedals, and other paraphernalia. Show that old guitar some love. You'll feel better.

Noah Norcross: Been going here a while for all my guitar setups and intonations, they always do a great job. Recently I went in to have a special hybrid pickup installed on a guitar. They got it installed in a couple of days, however, after going home to play it, the pickup wasn't working 100% correctly. Next week I took it back in and before the day was done, they had fixed the issue, free of charge. Long Beach Guitar Repair is your best bet for all your guitar needs. Great people and great service, can't ask for much more than that.
