Just A Random Line Segment: Sato is academically rigorous, yet it’s a school of a bunch of goofballs. From the classes to the students, Sato is everything you could want in a high school. The campus is small, but the community is rad. Sato prepares you for the future while still letting you exist in the moment. In short, Sato is small but mighty. Ayyyy, Sato forever! :D

James Mills: The best engineering and biomedical education in LBUSD! Lots if unique experiences for students, such as their aerospace program, competition teams and frequent field trips. Experienced staff with unique skill sets. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
Mona Merlo: This was the best experience for transportation of our students. Robert was a fabulous driver, knowledgeable and professional and the bus was prestige.

Ameren R: in 9th grade. In 10th grade we offer principals of engineering which is basically a step up from intro to design. In 11th grade we offer aerospace engineering where we explore robot systems. In 12th grade we offer digital electronics where we explore digital circuits. For the Biomedical Pathway we have a course entitled Human Body Systems where freshman to labs to explore how all the body systems work together. A few other courses related to the biomedical pathway is medical interventions where students explore ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. Also Anatomy and Physiology is a student favorite. Many pathway classes are geared by PLTW college courses and many of them do count for college credit starting in the 9th grade.One of the cons to Sato is that there are no sports so the school can get a little boring due to the lack of fun activities. There is a big variety of clubs at our school and I recommend Key Club, HOSA, Red Cross, RC Flight, and Firebeather Rocketry.Overall, Sato is an amazing school if you know you want a career in engineering and biomedical science. This school, will get you through college quicker and your studies will be easier. But, if you aren't prepared to forget what outside looks like because you're always doing homework, this school isn't for you. :

Amanda: I enroll 2 of my children to Mathnasium Bixby Knolls for almost a year and we absolutely love it. My youngest who was failing his 5th grade math at the beginning of school year is now an A student in his math class. My oldest was struggling in his PreCalc class at Poly High is doing so well and gain much needed confidence to go on next year. We really like that the instructors teaches math concepts and deep understanding, making my children to think critically rather than just math facts and each lesson builds nicely on each others. I am enrolling in their summer math SAT/ACT camp and Algebra Readiness. I highly recommend this Mathnasium to anyone who is looking for math help.

Kenya Ware: The BEST KUMON and my 7yr old sons test scores PROVE IT. We started working with Ms Ange Regis over 1 yr old where my son was struggling with Math & Reading fur to not putting him into the right School. Most teachers in the private school sector are not even college graduate and not qualified to even teach any kids don’t follow the appropriate curriculum. Needless to say we were in serious trouble while we got to Kumon and Ms Angeshe promised me she would get my son on his grade level. Now almost a year and a half later my seven-year-old son is doing fifth grade math and he’s reading is above his grade level. I am also a mother to an older child who went through that sylvan learning center program in the 90s that never worked and I also tried out the Cal State Long Beach Summer reading program that didn’t work. I stand strong on KUMON and I believe that with the right director like Ms Ange, Who really cares for each of her students and he is committed to their success. Thank you Kumon and Ms Ange For being a part of our success story.
Sandy Liang: I'm so happy that we decided to enroll our boys at Kumon. My older son has just finished 3rd he is now doing work that is above is grade level currently he is doing 4.5 grade level. As for the younger one he us almost at 3rd grade level. He just finsished 1st grade.
marlenn alba: I enrolled my nephew in Kumon at the beginning of his Kinder year because I noticed that he was needing a little more practice and the school curriculum was kind of all over the place. From the beginning, Ms. Ange had so much patience with him. She started him off with the basics and slowly built up his work. His penmanship has significantly improved. His retainment of letters and numbers has also drastically improved. I can honestly say that if it weren’t for Ms. Ange and the wonderful tutors at Kumon, my nephew would still be struggling in kinder. Thankfully, his teacher has also seen his improvement and we’re moving on to first grade! I highly recommend Kumon to anyone who wants to invest in their children’s education. We will be continuing with Kumon through the summer so my nephew doesn’t get out of the rhythm and hopefully we will continue throughout the rest of his k-12!

Ms. Angie and her tutors work hard to provide the children with the academic tutoring they need to meet and excel their math and reading goals. We took our son Darryl Jr. to the Long Beach Kumon Center with the intentions of providing an educational foundation for him at 4 years old. We were not disappointed. Mrs. Ange was patient will our son when others had written him off as too hard to handle. He flourished academically in school. Our 2nd son, who was two yrs younger, was eager to start Kumon. He went on to achieve high academic achievements and eventually worked as a tutor. My other two sons soon followed and they too did well in school. My youngest son recently released a graphic novel. All of their academic achievements can be traced back to Kumon and the warm and nurturing environment provided by Mrs. Ange. The BEST investment we made in our children was sending them to her Kumon Center. We now have two grandchildren and I look forward to sending them too.
