Jo Ann Dreher: I love this restaurant!! It's like being in Italy. The food is real Italian. It is so delicious, like a piece of heaven. A lifetime ago, it was favorite restaurant. I just moved back to this area and it is just as delicious as it was in my memory. My friend was in the mood for Italian, which is what made me remember this place. She agrees that it was devine. It's very tiny, simple caffe. I like that it's unpretentious. You are paying for the exquisite food and nothing else. I've had Italian food twice this week and the other place was good, but I paid a premium for the location. I plan to take all my out of tiwn guests here.

I walk into this little place and was greeted by this little older gentleman with a thick but understandable Italian accent. He was very friendly. At the table by the door we’re four or five men speaking Italian. There was no crazy or over the top romantic decor. Just an amazing authentic Italian atmosphere. The food was excellent. They use great quality olive oil. We’re coming back next time we’re in town!

All i can say this place is truly gem. I wasn’t hungry at that time but i ate all of what we ordered and it was super delicious. Best Carbonara i have ever had.
Kristin Davis: Service was fantastic: friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Literally every food item was excellent. It was the best ravioli I have ever had. It is pretty teeny, so not good for a group, but five of us had a great dinner in an intimate setting.
Jessica Castro: I lived in Belmont Shore for almost 4 years and this was our first time. This cozy little restaurant had delicious food, and great warm service. We were greeted, and we were able to choose where to sit. We went during dinner time on a Tuesday. They play soft jazz in the background, and its dimmly lit for a cozy feel and seating is nicely spaced out following covid-19 rules. They offer a sizeable wine list, and fresh warm bread to start. We had a salad to start, entrees, and followed by a shared dessert. We will definitely be coming again.

As it is a smaller restaurant with minimal soft surfaces, it does get quite noisy with people talking, then talking louder as it gets busier and wine glasses get low; then louder to overcome the tasteful music playing and etc. I LOVE this restaurant, that's like the only thing for me, and it doesn't stop me from coming. Also, bomb tiramisu!!
Puddingstone: Do Not judge the food on the bread. Don't bother trying the bread. I'm not certain how they call it bread... I honestly no joke almost told our group to leave if the bread was any indicator of the food to come.. and it was a special occasion so I didn't want to risk it but we had already opened a bottle of wine so I was willing to chance it..--But the foooood?...The stuffed pasta pouches are AMAZING. Get them.Also the spaghetti, the pesto and Bolognese are great.All pasta al dente perfection with perfect chew and perfect give.Fried artichokes for starters? Yes, the portion could afford two more pieces, please....but seriously, them there stuffed pouches... I need seconds!

Our server was extremely nice, but service was slow, could have been from the holiday and possible shortage of staff? Jesse Gonzalez: I must have been living under a rock to not have been aware that this place was here, so close to home. First of all the food is as close to legitimate Italian food as possible. Everything we ordered was delicious and we'll presented. The servers and personnel were friendly. I had the ciopino soup and it was to die for. I can't wait to go back and try their other offerings. My wife and kids liked their food equally. We all have been to Italy and we can easily refer anyone to this place if they want to try real Italian food. The bruscheta is my barometer to measure the quality of the food relative to Italy's and theirs is second to none.

Ruben Williams: Very interesting place. Its got a intimate lower flower and a exciting bar open air design up top. Filled witht he well heeled and beautiful. Its a very nice "right choice" to make. Its going to hold your wallet so know what your coming for. However the dishes are pleasantly surprisingly good and offer unique touches that set this apart from a more traditional Italian place. Wait staff was on point and ready at the drop to serve you well. I suggest reservations. An interesting observation is the two different "looks" so choose wisely because its a different party.

James Carlton: I've never really had super high end food before coming here, and I have to say it blew me away. I generally don't like cooked tomatoes, but the way they were prepared in the pasta dish I had was absolutely phenomenal. They had a little deal going on when we went, and it made it pretty reasonable, considering the quality, something like $40 a person for 3 courses. Still one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant.
Kirk Miller: The atmosphere was great as the restaurant felt high-end but accessible and the retractable roof was nice for having the fresh beach air without having to sit on the uncovered patio and risk getting too cold.The staff was super friendly and attentive. They initially brought us the wrong pizza but immediately realized the mistake and brought us out the correct one. There were no other issues aside from that.The food was pretty good but not amazing. The risotto was okay, though it was the first time my wife or I had risotto so that should be taken into account. The Chef's Pizza was better than the risotto but the toppings did have a habit of sliding off. However, the taste was excellent. The drinks we had were pretty standard cocktail affair but still good.The price was pretty standard for a higher-end place like this and we didn't feel like it was too crazy. While it is not a restaurant we would go to all the time, it is a very nice date night spot to have some good Italian food with an upscale atmosphere. Recommended for couples looking for a little romantic spot or for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.Parking: Since this is on 2nd Street parking can be a bit of a hassle. We parked in the lot a couple businesses down but did see a sign as we were leaving that we were not supposed to, so it was a good thing that we did not get ticketed. They do offer valet but, as we did not go with that option, I am unsure of the price.

We were supposed to go another Italian place for my birthday but there was a mix up and we ended up having reservations at Michaels instead.This was the best mistake ever!!I love the food here. It is definitely pricey and therefore we save this restaurant for special occasions. I am vegetarian and they will always create a new appetizer for us to try. For dinner I always get the mushroom risotto. It is so good it's one of the few times I refuse to share with others. The risotto is something that isn't on the menu but was made for us the first time I went. The chef has always been kind enough to make it for me every time I have gone back.
