Lisa E McKim: Visited with friends recently for the first time. I'm truly impressed. The views of the ocean are just spectacular. It's a luxurious and elegant environment, yet completely laid back and friendly. The service was excellent, and the food was well-prepared, well-seasoned, and nicely portioned. We happened to go on a Thursday afternoon and lucked out because Happy Hour is all day, with drink specials and half-priced appetizers. The calamari and hummus plate were both outstanding. The burgers, steaks, and salads were also spot on. They also played some great music at perfect dining volume. The parking in the area is kind of a challenge, but that's my only complaint. I'll be back soon!

Special mention for the ingredient quality, veggies were fresh and crisp, the bread was not breaking or falling apart and the meat was juicy and cooked at the point I requested. Extra points for having IPA on the tap. The only downside was the atmosphere, place was kind of lonely, only a few tables were occupied, possibly different vibe on a weekend.Vegetarian options: Menu has multiple salads, veggie entrees and even beyond meat replacements.Wheelchair accessibility: An elevator can take you to the restaurant floor and there are no obstacles to reach the seating area.

Yunah Hahn: Pleasantly surprised. It’s one of those places where photos don’t do justice. Honestly, all the photos I saw on Google and Yelp was not very convincing that this was the restaurant I wanted to take my friend for her birthday. I am so glad I took her! Not only was the place beautiful, the choices on the menu, presentation of the food, price and the service was all excellent. I just wish reception desk would do a better job. I just don’t find bunch of people standing and talking when guests are coming in to be very rude and unappealing. It would’ve been nice if they were more professional, prompt and helpful.We liked our waiter though. He is easy going, not too pushy nor overly friendly. Took good photos for us, got us everything we requested on a prompt manner and explained the specials real well.Food wise, scallops were the best thing we had, it’s totally worth it please get it. The portions aren’t big though. If you’re getting scallops as an entree, make sure you have appetizer, salad or a soup unless you have a tiny appetite. Our next favorite was the tuna tartare. I feel like flavors could’ve been better though. I make poke nachos and makis at home all the time. In terms of seasoning, something was lacking in that tuna tartare.Our least favorite was the mussels. It was a creamy sauce but I couldn’t really figure out what it was supposed to be. Not a hearty tomato base, not totally creamy either. Somewhere In between. Bread was good but the sauce lacked much flavor. Mussels were too tiny, lacked meat.Would I revisit? Definitely! Next time will try steak, fish entree.

Dora Ayala Castro: laced with white balsamic vinegar. The toppings pecans, pickled red onion, gonzola cheese, roasted carrots. I could taste the pickled onion and the cheese but the carrots had no crunch It was dress with unimpressive dressing I can't detect any real favor. Black pepper did nothing to enhance taste. Now for pistachio tiramisu that was real good is why I gave a 4 star review, Decadent, delicious taste of pistachio tiramisu. It a dallop of cream sprinkle with mini chocolate chips with half a raspberry and a mint leaf. It had a sponge like cake with pistachio filling covered with pistachio flavored pudding. If I ever go back it will be for that. Pistachio tiramisu. I will try something else on the menu but I won't have that salad again. Service was okay. It was fast but it felt unfriendly. Sorry that was my impression.
Steve Hunsader: Candied Pecan and Gorgonzola salad had great presentation, but gorgonzola appeared cubed, and bland. Ordered Free Range chicken as a protein topper. Surprised at toughness of chicken, although flavor was good. Tenderizing seems to be a necessity for this type of protein topper. Nice beer choices, happy to serve a sample when making a decision. This venue is part of a happening area. Your kids will love the lawn out front.

Cena Felter: Finally came down to this bar for happy hour and it did not disappoint!!Ambiance: 10/10This is definitely a modern and very sleek looking place! I love the decor and the full bar. Decent amount of TVs and they play sports and MMA so I can’t complain. Lots of seating, which is great for Bixby knolls area, and very clean. A bit dark but they seem to have lighting in the right areas to ensure you can decently see.Service: 10/10Everyone was so nice, knowledgeable of the menu and gave amazing service. No complaints at all and thoroughly enjoyed myself.Food: 10/10I ordered their popular Boom Boom shrimp and fried zucchini, both were just perfect. The shrimp was tasty and cooked perfectly. The zucchini was also cooked to perfection with a crunchy coating, and did not lack in the flavor! The fact we got to make our own style if burger allowed us to get exactly what we wanted. Jo Ann Dreher: I love this restaurant!! It's like being in Italy. The food is real Italian. It is so delicious, like a piece of heaven. A lifetime ago, it was favorite restaurant. I just moved back to this area and it is just as delicious as it was in my memory. My friend was in the mood for Italian, which is what made me remember this place. She agrees that it was devine. It's very tiny, simple caffe. I like that it's unpretentious. You are paying for the exquisite food and nothing else. I've had Italian food twice this week and the other place was good, but I paid a premium for the location. I plan to take all my out of tiwn guests here.

I walk into this little place and was greeted by this little older gentleman with a thick but understandable Italian accent. He was very friendly. At the table by the door we’re four or five men speaking Italian. There was no crazy or over the top romantic decor. Just an amazing authentic Italian atmosphere. The food was excellent. They use great quality olive oil. We’re coming back next time we’re in town!

All i can say this place is truly gem. I wasn’t hungry at that time but i ate all of what we ordered and it was super delicious. Best Carbonara i have ever had.

We were greeted, and we were able to choose where to sit. We went during dinner time on a Tuesday. They play soft jazz in the background, and its dimmly lit for a cozy feel and seating is nicely spaced out following covid-19 rules. They offer a sizeable wine list, and fresh warm bread to start. We had a salad to start, entrees, and followed by a shared dessert. We will definitely be coming again.

George Harvey: Great food. Thomas was our server-excellent informative help on the nice menu. We both had thai-chicken salad paired with the riesling wine. We sat inside near the front, close to the bar. Some ladies were VERY loud... My wife and I could barely hear each other. Next time, we will definitely eat on the sidewalk patio! Will most certainly re-visit. Prices were moderate.

The place is sort of trendy and the clientele was kind of a mixed bag with some overdressed for a midday meal and others when could have benefitted from some wardrobe advice. Cheeseburger was pretty good, grilled to a perfect medium. My friend liked the chili very much.
Erica Fung: We came here for dinner. There was a wait time of 35-45 min when we got here at 7:30pm. Our server is very friendly and attentive to us. She kept refilling our water. The lighting was a bit dark, and gives out a romantic vibe. It is good for date. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip, centered cut filet, and the duke.The dip was light in seasoning, and the taste was decent.The centered cut filet has smoky flavor, and the meat was pretty tender. It comes with baked potato.The duke is my favorite! It was well marinated, and it has a sweet flavor. The meat was very tendered, and cook exactly at medium rare!I will come back to try their burgers and sandwiches.

Ruben Williams: Very interesting place. Its got a intimate lower flower and a exciting bar open air design up top. Filled witht he well heeled and beautiful. Its a very nice "right choice" to make. Its going to hold your wallet so know what your coming for. However the dishes are pleasantly surprisingly good and offer unique touches that set this apart from a more traditional Italian place. Wait staff was on point and ready at the drop to serve you well. I suggest reservations. An interesting observation is the two different "looks" so choose wisely because its a different party.

James Carlton: I've never really had super high end food before coming here, and I have to say it blew me away. I generally don't like cooked tomatoes, but the way they were prepared in the pasta dish I had was absolutely phenomenal. They had a little deal going on when we went, and it made it pretty reasonable, considering the quality, something like $40 a person for 3 courses. Still one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant.
Kirk Miller: The atmosphere was great as the restaurant felt high-end but accessible and the retractable roof was nice for having the fresh beach air without having to sit on the uncovered patio and risk getting too cold.The staff was super friendly and attentive. They initially brought us the wrong pizza but immediately realized the mistake and brought us out the correct one. There were no other issues aside from that.The food was pretty good but not amazing. The risotto was okay, though it was the first time my wife or I had risotto so that should be taken into account. The Chef's Pizza was better than the risotto but the toppings did have a habit of sliding off. However, the taste was excellent. The drinks we had were pretty standard cocktail affair but still good.The price was pretty standard for a higher-end place like this and we didn't feel like it was too crazy. While it is not a restaurant we would go to all the time, it is a very nice date night spot to have some good Italian food with an upscale atmosphere. Recommended for couples looking for a little romantic spot or for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.Parking: Since this is on 2nd Street parking can be a bit of a hassle. We parked in the lot a couple businesses down but did see a sign as we were leaving that we were not supposed to, so it was a good thing that we did not get ticketed. They do offer valet but, as we did not go with that option, I am unsure of the price.

We were supposed to go another Italian place for my birthday but there was a mix up and we ended up having reservations at Michaels instead.This was the best mistake ever!!I love the food here. It is definitely pricey and therefore we save this restaurant for special occasions. I am vegetarian and they will always create a new appetizer for us to try. For dinner I always get the mushroom risotto. It is so good it's one of the few times I refuse to share with others. The risotto is something that isn't on the menu but was made for us the first time I went. The chef has always been kind enough to make it for me every time I have gone back.
