Sarah and staff have created a truly beautiful space that adds so much positive energy to the Ventura community. The physical space is beautiful, inviting and clean. I love the retail items in the lobby which are perfect for gift giving. The yoga studio itself is a zen, healing space that promotes wellness, health, introspection and kindness- to ourselves and to our community. The teachers all bring their unique, creative energy and style. Every class is different, but I always leave feeling energized and relaxed, and having had a great workout. I have taken yoga for over 15 years, at a variety of yoga studios. And Grassroots is by FAR the best yoga studio I have ever been a part of.

From the moment you walk in, you are welcome with a genuine smile and made to feel welcome. The classes are accessible and the teachers often show variations making it accessible to all. There is a sense of belonging and community in EVERY single class. Can’t wait to practice again soon.

More than just a yoga studio, Yoga Jones serves as a haven for health and wellness workshops and practitioners.

Dedicated to offering a wide variety of healing modalities to the community and beyond, Yoga Jones hosts workshops, sound baths, massage and Ayurvedic offerings as well as many styles of yoga with the aim of creating a place of refuge where people can focus on their purpose and discover what is most important to their lives.

People come to yoga with many different aims and needs--healing, growth, and inspiration.

Yoga Jones' experienced, dedicated staff has been practicing yoga and related disciplines for many decades. We teach in a wide variety of styles, all focusing on helping you realize your potential through awareness of body, mind, and spirit.

Styles include Ashtanga, Kundalini, Restorative, Taoist, Core Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Community, Gentle Yoga, Beginner Slow Flow, Hatha, Pre-Natal, Post-Natal, Integral and Aerial Silks. Meditation, breathwork and Ayurveda are emphasized in many classes.

We’re extremely proud of the studio’s teaching staff, whose devotion to the practice is reflected in the depth of their training.

We offer a wide variety of talented teachers and yoga classes designed to meet the specific needs of each student who walks through our doors.

We have two yoga rooms to allow for a wide variety of classes, from Vinyasa Flow to Yin, Restorative and even Prenatal and Kundalini. We also offer special events and workshops throughout the year.

We believe different styles of yoga are complementary rather than mutually exclusive. The physical training offered in our classes can be vigorous as well as restorative.

Founded in 2003 by Yogis Tina Chappel and her husband, Tom Lane, Yoga Jones was the first studio in Ventura to offer yoga classes in a wide variety of styles for students with varying interests and needs. We stay true to the Yoga Jones tradition of providing yoga for all!

Our mission at Firehouse Hot Yoga is to create an environment of health and wellness and to bring the healing aspects of this powerful hot yoga series to our community. We are here to help and support, challenge and encourage all people to live to their highest and best potential. I am honored to bring years of studio ownership and instruction to downtown Ventura and happily share it with anyone who is willing to spend 90 minutes finding themselves in the mirror. Studio Be is a serene Pilates Studio where you can let go of the pressures of the world and focus on your wellbeing. All our instructors are highly trained professionals who are certified in The Pilates method, Yoga, and Melt. Our beautiful studio is fully equipped with the original Gratz Classical Pilates equipment and Balanced Body Reformers.
