4worldlovers: My son has been attending Ernie Reyes WCWMA for 2 years now. The teachers are very competent and know how to teach kids; I love KJN Donna Bernardi and Espirit! They embody the spirit of discipline and compassion. It is very well run with an organized method for promotion and keeping track of kids improvement. Their classes are 2-3x a week, so my son gets the consistency he needs. It is also a fun place because they hold holiday celebrations. This is a well loved school which makes a positive contribution to the community. I often see Master Ernie Reyes himself checking on everything. I highly recommend this Martial arts school to all parents!

The Ernie Reyes' West Coast World Martial Arts Association's curriculum is a blend of different martial arts styles from all around the world, creating a unique mixed martial arts system that creates well rounded & versatile students of all ages and skill level.

Our mixed martial arts system consists of practical self-defense, Tae Kwon Do, boxing, kickboxing, grappling, and stick fighting.

4worldlovers: Sensei Tibon teaches a variety of fighting arts. GOJU means hard soft style of Karate. We use the hard style of Okinawan Japanese straight line fighting and the Soft style of Chinese Kempo and that which is angular or circular movements. Goju Ryu therefore has the best of both fighting traditions of Okinawan and Chinese.

We combine jamming, isolation, and parry combinations into a single fighting form. We also utilize the talents of other arts of self defense for completeness to adapt to any attack on the streets.

Commitment is to develop excellence in self-confidence, respect and discipline in all students so they develop into the best they can be and teach the traditional arts the way they were taught in Okinawa and Japan.

New students are welcome to trial ANY class that is NOT an OPEN MAT. If this is your first time and your first class is a GI class, a gi is not needed until you commit to attending. If you have any questions please give us a call!

Rich Flores is the founder, owner, and head instructor of Stockton Jiu-jitsu Academy. Richard is a Black belt and has over 10+ years of jiu-jitsu practice. He also has a background of high school and college wrestling and is also a Judo blue belt. Rich carries many IBJJF, Jiu Jitsu by the bay, Pan Ams, medals and titles in various belt colors. Richard loves competing in jiu jitsu along with spending time with his wife and two children and of course teaching classes right next door. Rich's mission is to change the view of jiu jitsu and help foster a love of the art in every one regardless of shape, size, age, or experience!
