We use the hard style of Okinawan Japanese straight line fighting and the Soft style of Chinese Kempo and that which is angular or circular movements. Goju Ryu therefore has the best of both fighting traditions of Okinawan and Chinese.

We combine jamming, isolation, and parry combinations into a single fighting form. We also utilize the talents of other arts of self defense for completeness to adapt to any attack on the streets.

They embody the spirit of discipline and compassion. It is very well run with an organized method for promotion and keeping track of kids improvement. Their classes are 2-3x a week, so my son gets the consistency he needs. It is also a fun place because they hold holiday celebrations. This is a well loved school which makes a positive contribution to the community. I often see Master Ernie Reyes himself checking on everything.
