Grades TK-8 In Quest Academy at the Santa Ana Student Center, students attend classes 5 days per week and participate in a personalized shared inquiry model of learning that values service, shared responsibility, and collaborative learning.

Grades TK-12 Students and their parents work closely with a California credentialed Education Specialist to choose the right combination of personalized learning programs.

Grades TK-12 Homeschool students can choose between a variety of classes and workshops on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Santa Ana Learning Center.


Grades 9-12, Keys College & Career Prep Independent Study students work independently and attend weekly meetings with their teacher. They have opportunities for select academy classes, online foreign language, in-person and online learning center classes, Internships, and CTE courses (where available).

Grades K-12, Venture Online is a comprehensive program providing a school that can be done anywhere, anytime, and at your child’s pace. Teachers provide lesson plans, pacing, and grading support while students have the ability to log in and complete their schooling when it is convenient for them.

Grades K-6, Virtual Academy is a comprehensive educational approach that supports academic and social growth in a virtual setting. Students log in to virtual classrooms for a few hours each day to receive direct instruction from their teacher and participate in offline, independent activities as well.

Grades TK-6 Montessori is a comprehensive educational approach based on self-directed activity and hands-on learning. In Montessori Voyage, students log in for 30 minutes of direct online instruction 4 days per week and receive all the curriculum and materials to support authentic Montessori learning, with the support of trained credentialed teachers, from the comfort of their homes.

McFadden Institute of Technology serves grades TK-8 and are extremely proud to have been named an AVID National Demonstration School. We are looking forward to becoming educational innovators and offer the best learning opportunities for all future SCOTS! At MIT, our motto is to “Eduvate 21st Century Learning Through Global Pathways" by offering various programs. We offer a robust elective program that includes Design and Modeling, Robotics, Computer Science, AVID, Coding, Forensic Science, Graphic Design, Arts, Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced Band and Orchestra, Dual Language Academy plus a Pre-IB pathway. All students regardless of grade level will have access to one of our 3 STEM Labs/Makerspaces.
