I am honored to be working at REACH Academy. I have over 20 years’ experience working as an Educational Professional. During that time, I have worked as an Coach, Site Director, Teacher, Dean, Vice Principal, and Principal, working with at-risk youth, grades 6th through 12th.


It has truly been my calling to work in education. Every day I have an unyielding, unapologetic approach for student success. I truly believe working with at-risk is not only shaping communities but SAVING lives. My approach in working with at-risk students is trauma informed, student centered, and one that creates a second chance at success. The learning community (staff, students and parents) does this by having caring relationships, providing an alternative method of teaching, learning, intervention and prevention, safe and healthy environments, and collaborative partners. By having those key ingredients, we all meet the unique educational, social, physical, and emotional needs of these diverse students we serve.
