Our single origin dark chocolates are made from the Arriba Naciónal, a rare cacao variety, known to be the oldest in the world and the most prized by chocolatiers globally. It is known to have terrific overall balance with a complex, intense, long, pleasant and unique flavor.

The Nacional cacao tree is considered a national treasure in Ecuador and a significant source of income for local farmers. As a crop primarily grown in the shade, heirloom cacao trees provide habitat for birds and other fruit-bearing trees, protecting an area's unique biodiversity. Our organic chocolate is sourced from a fair trade and sustainable collective in Ecuador.
