Dr. Lauzé (pronounce “lō-ZAY”) hails from Maine originally, and completed his undergraduate education at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. He attended Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Harvard/Beth Israel hospital in Boston.

In residency, he was the Chief Resident of the HIV Psychiatry Service, and after graduation became the Assistant Medical Director of that service at Beth Israel. Dr. Lauzé has a long history of working with HIV+, at-risk, and disenfranchised populations, and people within the LGBTQ+ community. He served as Medical Director of Mental Health Services at the Sidney Borum Jr. Health Center in inner-city Boston, working with the homeless and at-risk adolescents and adults before moving to California and opening a private practice.
