Young Kim: in Little ItalyA bohemian restaurantThere are many people enjoying cocktails at the bar.The atmosphere tooFood tooService tooAchieve beautiful harmonycrowded with peopleA restaurant that feels aliveThe price is highBut a place that bows to value

Ram: I would definitely recommend this restaurant for seafood lovers.I had an issue with the customer service before, but when I contacted the manager name Sergio Rosas, he took care of it.And the server name Kyle was really nice and kind. Before I got out from the restaurant, I made a reservation for a big group of people. That's much how I was happy with the service.Thank you for the great hospitality and wonderful experience.

Hyeju Yang: It's a restaurant famous for its oysters, but since we can't eat oysters, we ate clam chowder soup, lobster roll, and grilled octopus. The food was of high quality, so I was very satisfied with the meal! Recommended

Evan Ph: 4.5 stars to be exact. Big, beautiful room with solid service. Great happy hour with good value and great fresh oysters. Nice beer selection too. The %&#! on a shell though had a very odd spicy element to it...not too much for the mouth to handle but stayed lingering in your chest in a heartburn type way, which I never get. I'll skip those next time. Wanted to try the octopus which looked great but was told that menu ended at 3:00. It was 3:01 when I inquired with maybe 7 people in the whole restaurant mid-week. Maybe think about 60 seconds of flexibility guys lol. The food runner also couldn't describe anything and made up where the oysters were from. Not the best look. All in all, though a place I would go again.

Evie Ha: A friend recommended this place and it was great! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch! The oysters were super delicious, probably the freshest I've ever had! The octopus was amazingly tender too. The bone marrow was a bit too rich for my taste, though. The service was fantastic as well! And last but not least they don’t have parking lot.

Jose Mercado: Ironside Fish & Oyster, situated a stone's throw from the lively Piazza della Famiglia, offers a delightful dining experience in Little Italy. The ambience is fantastic - a tastefully renovated warehouse with quirky, nautical touches that sets the mood for a fun and flavorful meal. The focus here, as the name suggests, is on fresh seafood. Locals rave about the lobster roll, and for good reason. It's packed with succulent lobster meat, perfectly dressed and bursting with flavor. But my personal favorite was the octopus a la plancha. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, cooked to perfection, and the chorizo added a delicious smokey depth that elevated the dish.If you're looking for a drink to complement your meal, Ironside doesn't disappoint. They boast a great selection of cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Little Italy. And for those who prefer a brew, there's a solid list of local beers on tap.Overall, Ironside Fish & Oyster is a fantastic spot for a delicious seafood meal in a vibrant setting. The friendly atmosphere, coupled with the top-notch cuisine and drinks, makes it a great choice for both locals and visitors alike.

Justin Howard: .The service shined the brightest. All staff were genuinely kind and attentive.

Caleb Boyer: . Service was seamless and so efficient! The salad left a bit to be desired, but I had the espresso martini and spartan mule cocktails

jose gonzalez: We were seated almost as soon as we got there. The waitress was amazing and took her time explaining our different options on the menu. I had the Chicken Souvlaki which was delicious and a got very large portions, which I was very happy about. There was a belly dancer that provided great entertainment and while we were finishing up, the manager stopped by our table to check in and make sure we enjoyed our experience. Overall, great place, great food and will be coming back in the future.

Ms. Fancy: We enjoyed our dinner here. The food was pretty good. My lobster a bit over done but flavorful. I sampled my guest's salmon, and it was perfectly done! The bread delicious but a higher grade of butter would have been better. The Wedge Salad fresh. A bit more dressing and bacon would have been perfect! The atmosphere trendy but somewhat unclean.Overall, our experience was delightful in the hands of Joey! Thank you again for your recommendation!Ms. FancyGoogle Reviewer8 million + picture views

Brianne: We went on a Friday night when they were busy and had an even going on. You would not have been able to tell they were slammed. Service was amazing, food was amazing, everyone was friendly.Would 100% go back here for special occasions

barry_for_food: It's a good place to have dinner after watching the football game.Seafood is highly recommended!

Kelli Moser: were excellent and could be eaten as an appetizer or a main dish and add a la cart sides or save room for their delicious desserts. Their fresh baked sourdough rolls were amazing! Perfect crisp on top but soft and fluffy inside. The adult beverages were excellent but the Village was my favorite. I had the black cod another day, a cheeseburger another. My favorite dessert was the maple cheesecake with sour cream ice cream. It had only a hint of actual maple flavor instead of the overwhelming fake maple that other places use. It wasn't overly sweet and paired perfectly with the twang of the sour cream ice cream. Their bread pudding was delightful and quite large. I did enjoy the key lime pie even though it wasn't as traditional as what you would get in Florida. The servers were all very friendly and attentive without being bothersome. I highly recommend you check it out if you are a foodie. If you are sensitive to salt, they do sprinkle it on several items like the bread, butter and even the bread pudding so please let them know in advance if you can't tolerate salt. Everything was seasoned perfectly for me.Dietary restrictions: I was able to enjoy several meals here even with a shellfish allergy. My allergy is severe so normally I'm wary of seafood places. I enjoyed every meal including several fish options without issues.

Cherie D: It's giving 5 stars. Absolutely amazing. I do not have ONE suggestion to add to this place.Get the bread!! Probably the fluffiest roll I've ever in my life. The butter that comes along with it OMG.Salad, YUM, love that they played it for both me and my husband to share.Ribeye-- FANTASTIC and the peppercorn sauce- I am obsessed. CHEF PLEASE TEACH ME.Drinks were so good and actually cheaper than most places these days.I WILL BE BACK SOON

Edward Blazejewski: I had dinner here during my stay in San Diego and I was very happy with my meal. The cocktail I had ordered was very good. For food I started with the C-Star Ceasar, which was very big, but light and not too filling. Very simple Ceasar with more of an oil based dressing, nothing crazy. For my meal I chose the 14 oz. Ribeye steak, which was delicious. The meat was cooked a perfect medium rare and the fat just melted in my mouth. I opted to order a side of the Creamy Horseradish sauce which was a great addition. All the steaks come with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus, which both weren’t anything special. I also ordered a side of the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, which were disappointing. They sound great on the menu, but overall were too salty and the pancetta was too tough to enjoy. I wish I would have ordered the Mac &. Cheese instead. For desert I had my waitress choose for me because all the options sounded great. She brought me out the Sticky Toffee Cake which was delicious. A great choice by her.I was seated at the counter in front of the kitchen. It was fun to watch the inner workings and how the food is prepared. Overall a great dinner, worth the price for the quality and quantity of food you receive.

marjon farz: I would definitely put this place on the top of my list for a nice dining steakhouse. I went here for a dinner date with my boyfriend mid-week, and the restaurant was decently packed! The dinner experience felt very private. The service is very tentative. The ambiance is dimillect, posh, and elegant. It's a perfect spot for a fancy dinner date or celebration. This place is decently pricey, so I would keep that in mind, I wouldn't say it somewhere casual to go. There is no dress code. However, most people are dressed business casual. I am literally still dreaming about the steak I had here! Alongside everything else, I was amazing. They bring complenary bread, and that's where the taste buds begin to be stimulated! We ordered the clams, mac and cheese, and Brussel sprouts, alongside her stakes. Everything came out warm, tasty, and fresh!I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good quality steak in a classy restaurant.

Samuel Jensen: This establishment surpassed my expectations. Service was outstanding. A bit pricey but seafood was top quality. Recommend sharing a bunch of the small plates.

Stephan Yang: was highly skilled and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the ingredients and inspiration behind each cocktail. Their passion for mixology was evident in every drink they served. He also has a killer recipe for an Old Fashioned! The atmosphere at Lionfish was vibrant yet relaxed, making it an ideal spot for enjoying a drink, whether you're starting your evening or winding down after dinner.Thank you Matt for starting our night off correctly and creating those amazing craft cocktails! WE WILL BE BACK!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!UNTIL THEN!! ^-^

Andrei B: Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Tourist trap: 4/5Wow factor: 4/5Would comeback: NoNote: The food is good, just not $55 salmon+brussels good.

Simon Chatwin: , service was spot-on, attentive cheerful, knowledgeable, not intrusive, atmosphere was noisy though tables were well spaced and not crowded.Disappointed in Patates Bravas. The delight of this dish is the crunchy potatoes, soft inside and spicy sauce. Here, the sauce was slathered over the potatoes and ruined the crunch.Generally the chef needs to pay more attention to texture and less to Sriracha. We turned the table so we could sit next to each other and hear the conversation.Overall it was very good, but I'd like it to be better!

The apps are all pretty good, I ordered the chicken chimichurri dish for my entree and chicken was really dry, I only ate a few bites, I couldn’t choke it down without a glass of water per bite. As far as parking its valet for $20 or self park however the self park lot is like a quarter size the valet lot so it’s almost like they force valet on you.

Dianne Thorpe: Best restaurant I have eaten at in San Diego. We went here for thanksgiving dinner and it was the best decision we made. The drinks were great. The food was top notch for holiday menu and the service was impeccable. My friend who is not a fan of dining out and eating at above average restaurants was very impressed and enjoyed our time and experience. From now on this will be put Thanksgiving tradition to have dinner here. Keep up the awesome job!

Karma Bass: I had the beef cheeks at the waiter's recommendation and they were delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and we got the vegetables to share which were also delicious. We will definitely dine here again!

Michael Bengochea: The cons are it's really loud and the high chairs are uncomfortable. It's like were older people go instead of the club. I was unsure about coming here but the food is seriously amazing. Every single dish was way better than it should have been. We got baba ghanoush which was great and creamy. We had a pork belly dish, it was great. My wife had the gnocchi, I got a wagyu steak and we took a pizza home. All fantastic.

Lizzy Perruzzi: We've come here twice, once with friends and once for an anniversary dinner! It's a nice place with very high quality food and drinks!Parking: Cost of street parking varies based on time of day. Valet is a reasonable price.

Michael Kieval: , and a sophisticated and well-curated wine and cocktail program. Service was really very good. Food was enjoyable, and the menu impressive, 4.5 stars for the price.Vibe is corporate trying fairly well to be hip.Would definitely return.

Tom Keller: Based purely on the vast differences of cuisine choices this is an easy repeat location. Atmosphere was open and inviting, modem but sophisticated. Glass Window Kitchen in the back provided all the right vibes.Looked at the desserts but could not indulge after such a filling and appetizing meal. Will repeat! Great job yet again, Brian!

Nishtha Choudhary: A great place for food, drinks and vibes.Went for a bachelorette and there were 2 other tables for different bachelorette parties so seems like a popular place for bachelorettes. We ordered the barrel of sangria for 6 of us and it was wayyyy too much alcohol for our party size. We had 2.5 glasses each and there was still more left. The food was really good. We were a large party so ordered a lot of stuff. My favorites were the brussel sprouts, and the seafood paella. I didn't like the chicken skewers that much. They were chewy. The vibe was really fun. We sat on the 2nd floor but people were dancing in the dining area while live music was playing downstairs. It was such a fun and high energy environment!

Dom: Hodad’s is the place-to-be for burger fans! 🍔🔥Here you can get super tasty burgers at really fair prices 💯What's really cool: The store itself has style - there are stickers everywhere that give the whole thing a unique vibe 🙌🏽The service at the table is super friendly 👌🏽When we're back in town, a visit to Hodad's is definitely a must. Highly Recommended! 😎👍🏽

Keith LaFreniere: A true gem! Absolutely the best burger I've had in a long time! I could barely get my mouth around this beast! Also you have to try the onion rings, fantastic! And a rarity these days, everything is very reasonably priced! Lastly, the service was awesome! Only thing I didn't love about this place, was the how loud the music was, makes it tough to converse, so if you don't like it really loud, better get it to go. This is now a must stop on my visits to SD, wish there was one in Phx! Hint hint to the owner.

Michael “TheMartz23” Martz: Haven’t even got my food yet and I’m giving it 5 stars. Hole in the wall, great music, great environment, great service, large portions from what I can tell.

Eric DeLong: First let me say the onion rings were great, crunchy and thick. My vanilla malt milkshake was bomb! Being a burger joint though, I gotta rate it on that.... and I was left wanting. The portions are big, you won't go hungry! For me the burger wasn't worth the hype. The patties seemed either over worked or previously frozen.... and for this price?! Which is my next point... it's a little pricey.... but this is Cali so..... worth a try!

Cornel Ecuacion: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Born and Raised in Little Italy, San Diego, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the amazing decor that perfectly blends vintage charm with modern elegance. The highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the incredible cocktails crafted by Ben, the drinkmaster extraordinaire. Ben is a true magician when it comes to all things cocktail. Not only did he flawlessly execute the classics, but he also impressed us with his ability to create bespoke cocktails tailored to our tastes. Each drink was a masterpiece, showcasing his deep knowledge and passion for mixology. The service at Born and Raised was polished and attentive, making us feel pampered throughout our visit. It's clear that the culinary team takes immense pride in their work.Born and Raised has quickly become my favorite dining experience in San Diego. If you're looking for a place that combines fantastic food, stellar cocktails, and top-notch service in a stunning setting, this is it. Don’t miss out on the chance to have Ben craft you a cocktail—it's an experience you won't forget!

Hyeju Yang: I went there because I heard it was very famous in San Diego.Review of uni pasta from someone who can't eat uni: It was a dish worth trying even for people like me. The slightly sour taste of the pasta sauce went well with uni, so it was delicious!!The recommended wine went well with the steak, so it was a very satisfying dinner.

Rich Hill: Born and Raised is a remarkable dining establishment that stands out among its peers. From the moment we stepped through its doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of exceptional service and impeccable attention to detail. Manuel Garcia: My wife and I went to La Jolla for an early dinner. We heard about Eddie V's and decided to try it. We looked at the Menu and noticed it was still Happy Hour. We sat at the bar, big comfortable seatsWe had a Beautiful View of the La Jolla Beach and Coast area. We had the mini Filet Mignon hamburgers. Very Good. Calamari was the Best we've ever had and plenty. Crab Cake was bountiful and Very Good. The Cosmopolitan Martini we're the Best we've ever had. Seriously. It was so Refreshing. Plan on going back again soon. Bartenders are Excellent.

McKenna Granger: Last night, my family and friends celebrated my birthday and my friends’ upcoming wedding. Chris was our waiter and he made our entire experience phenomenal. He is hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had. He was massively helpful, patient, and did everything possible to make our experience special. The food was also lovely and the drinks were fabulous. We are originally from Colorado and just visiting, but now anytime I am in California I will make it a point to come to La Jolla and see Chris. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Noura Alkhalifa: The restaurant is amazing in terms of location and food.. Their service is 10/10, honesty, we succeeded in it. We were served by a man named Eric, who was very nice and helpful. The thing I loved most was the mac and cheese 👌🏼And the dessert is delicious and they gave it to us for free after that💕

Crystal Fitpold: I don't even have words for the amazing experience! The food and drinks were fantastic. The Mac and cheese was especially yummy. Nothing could compare to the location though! The view was magical. We got to watch the sea lions on the cove from our table - it was a highlight of my trip to the area. I would've paid extra for that view! Service was very nice, but not very fast. That was fine by me as it gave more time to enjoy the view!

Melvina Selfani: Eddi Vs is such an elegant delicious fine dining. I highly recommend it. Great service and great atmosphere and amazing customer service. Good food selections and wonderful bread and butter before dinner or lunch.Vegetarian options: Nice choices.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Erik Jimenez: Great views, food and service.

H G: Been here a few different times in the last 3 years, its always a good experience and great food. Two occasions have been for a birthday, each time they've decorated the table and had a birthday card ready with complimentary champagne to start and dessert at the end of the meal. On one occasion I requested a table by the window, but it was dark and couldn't really see much. Other occasions we've taken a booth, which is way more comfortable than the chairs near the window. Ordered the kung pao calamari as an appetizer, a lot bigger than expected and delicious. The crab fried rice was not very good, didn't seem cooked all the way, but the truffled macaroni and cheese was the best mac n cheese I've ever tasted. My go to is the Ribeye, perfectly char on the outside and pink and flavorful on the inside. I typically get a Smoked Old Fashion. The very first time visiting this location the server put on a show burning a plank at the table and smoking the glass. Instances after that have not been the same, but the drink is still smoky and delicious. My date got a mule that came in a small glass with lots of ice, hardly any mule, it was sad. I've had some good wines recommended by staff as well. The servers are courteous, knowledgeable, and they aim to please. Parking is not a problem, but not always close either. They have a valet service for a few $ more than the cost of public parking and worth it if you dont want to walk a few blocks. Its fine dining, but the dress code seems relaxed and people bring kids as well. On one occasion a drunk couple were seated next to us, they were loud and obnoxious. We ignored them, but it was surprising that they were seated in the first place.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. As we perused the menu, we were captivated by the tantalizing array of dishes inspired by the flavors of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with vibrant colors and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We started our meal with the signature Roy's Original Hawaiian Martini, a refreshing and exotic cocktail that set the tone for the culinary delights to come. From there, we savored every bite of our appetizers, from the crispy and flavorful Szechuan Spiced Pork Ribs to the delicate and succulent Ahi Poke. For our main course, we indulged in a feast of flavors that left us speechless with delight. D: Roy‘s Restaurant is a nice restaurant right at the Waterfront area in San Diego. The Signature Drink „Roy’s Hawaiian Martini“ was delicious, the Coconut Rum adds an interesting taste to the Classic. Apart from that, the Filet Mignon was on point and even the side was fantastic. The view from the balcony is awesome, the service very good, both friendly and reasonably quick. The prices however are a little too high.Kid-friendliness: Reasonably kid-friendly.

Phillip Andrada: . There are even deluxe versions of some of their entrees like chef's choice sashimi or deluxe chirashi. Any food knows it's not the freshness of the fish that makes a good sushi bar. The fish is fresh but it is the preparation of the fish that makes this place how good it is. We tried items from the kitchen as well like the karage and overall everything was delicious and top notch. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.

Michael Papligone: This restaurant surpasses all expectations. Servers explain the sushi dishes when they are brought out. Food is well prepared and deliciously outstanding. Location is a tiny strip mall. Parking is limited in the front ,extra in the back. Highly recommended. We have never been disappointed eating here.Parking: Front parking and back parkingWheelchair accessibility: Tight but accessible. My wife was on a scooter, we got in ok

m: A very popular sushi restaurant in San Diego.Fully booked on this day too!The first dragon roll I ate was delicious♪

Turbocripple: Amazing fish, wonderful atmosphere, honestly the best sushi experience I have had to date.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m a para with a manual chair and had no problem finding parking, getting in the building and being seated at an accessible table.

Karl Jin: The food is above average. The edamame and seaweed salad portions are generous enough for up to three people. The sushi and sashimi are well-sized, fresh, and flavorful. However, the tables are placed very close together, making it difficult to avoid overhearing conversations from other tables, even if you don't want to.

Anani Mouse: Absolutely amazing experience. The living shrimp left me wide eyed like a school girl. The fish and shrimp were divine. The sushi chef was able to accommodate my gluten allergy and my husband’s shrimp allergy and provide unique dishes for each of us. It was more food than I would typically eat, but I didn’t want to miss any of it. I would definitely repeat this experience. The location is unexpected. It’s kind of a hole in the wall, but don’t let that scare you off. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this gem.

Mash M: Best. Sushi. Ever!!!! Special thanks to Chef Kaz for making our experience wonderful.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic Japanese sushi place in SD.

Justin Kelly: Long overdue review, I love this place! Best sushi in the state in my opinion. Everything from the basic spicy tuna roll to the various specials is all super deliciousWheelchair accessibility: My wife has a disability, the staff is very accommodating. Cory McDowell: This is a cafe style restaurant. Maybe sets 20 people. Not much ambiance but the food is outstanding. We went there 4 times in the two months we were in the area. They do not have a bathroom so go before you go. We recommend it highly.Parking: It's in a plaza with Manny parking places.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility into the building

Crystal Jones: Excellent food!!! I can't say anything bad about this place other than it doesn't have a bathroom. We had the cheese steak sandwich and coconut shrimp. The food was top quality and the flavor was super delicious! Can't wait to eat here again! This is a must stop restaurant for anyone visiting from out of town. Cream of the crop for San Diego dinning!
