Juston Erwin: We recently visited with a wedding gift card. We aren't generally big spenders at restaurants but we have no regrets about this one. We had never been prior and we had a pretty wonderful experience overall. We did get a variety of things from all over the menu. Definitely enjoyed everything we got.The server was very nice and gave us some legitimately helpful tips about ordering. For example, the 22 oz steak that we ordered would take a decent amount of time to prepare. The waitress was ready available when needed and we constantly had fresh food in front of us without anything piling up.We of course had dessert and everything was delicious. I do wish the carrot cake had more actual cake to it. It was delicious regardless. The pineapple matcha ice cream was absolutely delicious and very unique. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. It has a very rustic but modern feel. I didn't find my chair to be that comfortable. I think the back was angled back a little bit too much.

Kylie Ozols: !!Things I recommend:“Bites”section, the yellowtail tostada, smoked rolls and squash blossoms are always a favorite of mine.“Small Plates” section, the Japanese Sweet Potatoes and the Ravioli

Jessica Miller: The food was amazing. The service was a little slow, but everything we ordered was delicious. I would go back to try more things.Parking: Paid valet

Andrew: I miss this place so much! Seriously the best food in SD and some of the best I’ve ever had. On another level for sure. I’m writing this while paying at another restaurant lmao. Every time I go out to eat somewhere else I wish I just went to Trust 😭.

Suishmitaa Srianand: . The portion size is particularly small for this dish but we were warned by the waitress beforehand so we knew what to expect. The chicken sandwich was nice and juicy.Cons: For a brunch place, the only coffee option they had was the drip coffee. So if you're looking for a nice cup of latte or espresso or cappuccino, you won't find it here.

Manuel Garcia: My wife and I went to La Jolla for an early dinner. We heard about Eddie V's and decided to try it. We looked at the Menu and noticed it was still Happy Hour. We sat at the bar, big comfortable seatsWe had a Beautiful View of the La Jolla Beach and Coast area. We had the mini Filet Mignon hamburgers. Very Good. Calamari was the Best we've ever had and plenty. Crab Cake was bountiful and Very Good. The Cosmopolitan Martini we're the Best we've ever had. Seriously. It was so Refreshing. Plan on going back again soon. Bartenders are Excellent.

McKenna Granger: Last night, my family and friends celebrated my birthday and my friends’ upcoming wedding. Chris was our waiter and he made our entire experience phenomenal. He is hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had. He was massively helpful, patient, and did everything possible to make our experience special. The food was also lovely and the drinks were fabulous. We are originally from Colorado and just visiting, but now anytime I am in California I will make it a point to come to La Jolla and see Chris. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Noura Alkhalifa: The restaurant is amazing in terms of location and food.. Their service is 10/10, honesty, we succeeded in it. We were served by a man named Eric, who was very nice and helpful. The thing I loved most was the mac and cheese 👌🏼And the dessert is delicious and they gave it to us for free after that💕

Crystal Fitpold: I don't even have words for the amazing experience! The food and drinks were fantastic. The Mac and cheese was especially yummy. Nothing could compare to the location though! The view was magical. We got to watch the sea lions on the cove from our table - it was a highlight of my trip to the area. I would've paid extra for that view! Service was very nice, but not very fast. That was fine by me as it gave more time to enjoy the view!

Melvina Selfani: Eddi Vs is such an elegant delicious fine dining. I highly recommend it. Great service and great atmosphere and amazing customer service. Good food selections and wonderful bread and butter before dinner or lunch.Vegetarian options: Nice choices.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Erik Jimenez: Great views, food and service.

H G: Been here a few different times in the last 3 years, its always a good experience and great food. Two occasions have been for a birthday, each time they've decorated the table and had a birthday card ready with complimentary champagne to start and dessert at the end of the meal. On one occasion I requested a table by the window, but it was dark and couldn't really see much. Other occasions we've taken a booth, which is way more comfortable than the chairs near the window. Ordered the kung pao calamari as an appetizer, a lot bigger than expected and delicious. The crab fried rice was not very good, didn't seem cooked all the way, but the truffled macaroni and cheese was the best mac n cheese I've ever tasted. My go to is the Ribeye, perfectly char on the outside and pink and flavorful on the inside. I typically get a Smoked Old Fashion. The very first time visiting this location the server put on a show burning a plank at the table and smoking the glass. Instances after that have not been the same, but the drink is still smoky and delicious. My date got a mule that came in a small glass with lots of ice, hardly any mule, it was sad. I've had some good wines recommended by staff as well. The servers are courteous, knowledgeable, and they aim to please. Parking is not a problem, but not always close either. They have a valet service for a few $ more than the cost of public parking and worth it if you dont want to walk a few blocks. Its fine dining, but the dress code seems relaxed and people bring kids as well. On one occasion a drunk couple were seated next to us, they were loud and obnoxious. We ignored them, but it was surprising that they were seated in the first place.

Haylee Jane Monteiro: Really crunchy and the goat cheese was delicious as well. Absolutely love the balance of the flavors here with that pistou and the orange blossom honey. The pistou on its own was delicious as well.Burnt Brussels Sprouts + ivan's hot sauceI would probably rate this 0/10We asked for less oil on this but this was still very very very oily. Yes it was crispy and everything but just too much oil. I had to use the napkin to try to press out the oil but it was still not good enough. Ended up leaving half the dish.Hot sauce on the side wasn't too great either to be honest. Would have been a little better with hot honey.Chocolate Budino

Andrea Osuna: Located close to balboa park, this Italian restaurant is always a good choice for a date/birthday/graduation. Their drink selection is solid. From their zero proof selection, the waiter recommended me the aquazul drink which was delicious. The Italian chopped salad pairs well with their house bread and the rigatoni bolognese is fulfilling and rich. 10/10

Maddie A: We Enjoyed our dinner. The host were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is comfortable, with tall ceilings and nice decor. It has a bar area with plenty of seating. Partial view of the kitchen for the curious ones. Our server was good, she forgot one of our main entries and it took additional time. The food took time for us to get even though it was barely busy given it was Monday. The carpaccio lacked flavor, I don’t know if it’s because they didn’t offered to add pepper, I believe it needed some sauce. The Wagyu and the whole branzino were very good, as well as the fries. and, lastly the limoncello was awesome. Not sure about parking, seems like you’ll need to find street parking. Restaurant is in a corner by the traffic light and east to find.

Top of the Market - San Diego: what do users think?

Deborah DeLisi: . It was flavorful, moist, and bursting with freshness and tanginess, devoid of the heavy breadcrumb filler that plagues lesser versions. One bite was simply not enough—I found myself yearning for seconds! For the main course, I chose the scallop entree, and it was also exquisite. Each scallop was a testament to freshness and skillful preparation. Accompanied by fried mushrooms that defy description—reminiscent of shoestring potatoes but with an earthy twist—every component of the dish was executed flawlessly. The sheer size of the scallops left me unable to finish all four—a testament to their generous proportions. The Brussels sprouts were a revelation in themselves, showcasing Chef James' mastery of flavors and textures. Against a backdrop of crisp white linens and an extensive wine selection, the dining experience exuded an air of sophistication and elegance. Our server, Jonas, guided us through the menu with expert knowledge and attentiveness, offering great recommendations that enhanced our meal. And let's not forget the breathtaking views—the sight of sailboats gliding across the water lent an enchanting ambiance to an already unforgettable meal. When making your reservation, be sure it's for Top of the Market, and not the more casual Fish Market downstairs. Despite the hour-long drive, I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit to Top of the Market.Parking: Valet parking in front of the restaurant is $15 for 3 hours, which is reasonable for a busy area.

troy grote: Ruth Chris screwed up our reservationAnd I called top of the market last min on a Friday night. The manager sneaked us in , she even gave us a table with the best view. Service was on point he was an excellent server. Food was greatIt was my wife’s 53rd birthday and our 30th anniversary

Khalid: Took my wife here for our anniversary, and the experience was impeccable.First, we reserved a table for the outdoor deck, but due to rain I called in advanced worried about our table. I found out they had already moved us inside to the indoor 'balcony'.While I was on the phone, Susan asked me if I'd like to have the menu customized. Thinking it was something small - I said of course. When we arrived to the restaurant, we were greeted with an anniversary card and our menus were titled with our names, wishing us a happy anniversary. It was lovely! While waiting for our food, my wife was getting a bit cold from a draft. Susan quickly made an adjustment to stop the draft, but then also brought my wife a blanket just in case.Lastly, the actual food was incredible. Our server Sam made great recommendations and was incredibly friendly. Our dinner included the crab cake, surf and turf special, and the halibut - all incredible. For dessert, we were stuck selecting an option, but were suddenly surprised with a gift of the smores cake from the team at Top of the Market, for our special event.Truly a great experience - I'll be looking for any excuse to return.

Karina Contreras: If you are thinking about celebrating your anniversary, this is the place, they are the most attentive, full of details. We celebrated our 26 years there watching the sun go down, it was beautiful. We made a reservation for the anniversary and they treated us like kings. Thank you very much, family, it is a beautiful memory!!! 💜💜 Salvador &karina

Dianne Thorpe: Best restaurant I have eaten at in San Diego. We went here for thanksgiving dinner and it was the best decision we made. The drinks were great. The food was top notch for holiday menu and the service was impeccable. My friend who is not a fan of dining out and eating at above average restaurants was very impressed and enjoyed our time and experience. From now on this will be put Thanksgiving tradition to have dinner here. Keep up the awesome job!

Karma Bass: I had the beef cheeks at the waiter's recommendation and they were delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and we got the vegetables to share which were also delicious. We will definitely dine here again!

Michael Bengochea: The cons are it's really loud and the high chairs are uncomfortable. It's like were older people go instead of the club. I was unsure about coming here but the food is seriously amazing. Every single dish was way better than it should have been. We got baba ghanoush which was great and creamy. We had a pork belly dish, it was great. My wife had the gnocchi, I got a wagyu steak and we took a pizza home. All fantastic.

Lizzy Perruzzi: We've come here twice, once with friends and once for an anniversary dinner! It's a nice place with very high quality food and drinks!Parking: Cost of street parking varies based on time of day. Valet is a reasonable price.

Michael Kieval: , and a sophisticated and well-curated wine and cocktail program. Service was really very good. Food was enjoyable, and the menu impressive, 4.5 stars for the price.Vibe is corporate trying fairly well to be hip.Would definitely return.

Tom Keller: Based purely on the vast differences of cuisine choices this is an easy repeat location. Atmosphere was open and inviting, modem but sophisticated. Glass Window Kitchen in the back provided all the right vibes.Looked at the desserts but could not indulge after such a filling and appetizing meal. Will repeat! Great job yet again, Brian!

We ordered about 11 plates in total for the 8 of us, plus a couple desserts. Everything was tasty. Fairly reasonable considering the experience. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants.April 2023: Great experience! The service was fantastic as was the food. Tempest was our server and was excellent. Tia provided a wonderful welcome, and Matt was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly. You can't go wrong with the food. Our party of 8 got most of the dishes on the menu and there were no bad ones. The plates are small so 1 plate for 4 people for a reasonable taste. 3 plates each to get full. One strange thing is they required a credit card for deposit

Alan Chaney: Addison was Amazing. Recently attended our Anniversary there. The atmosphere is a 10. It's a great place to enjoy your spouse or partner. Multiple settings of just vibes. We sat in the room with the fireplace and just cozy and intimate. We enjoyed the Chefs service where you try 7 courses of just stunning delicious Michelin Star selections. It was one of the best meals we have had anywhere. The service was without reproach. 5 Star. We were visited by the chef and manager throughout the meal. It could not have been more special and satisfying. The food was dazzling from caviar, duck breast, salad, and 2 stunning deserts. The chef menu changes but our evening was very special. Each meal was $356 for each of us. Also we were gifted a bottle of 2014 Caymus select and 2015 Quintessa. We had preseco with our desert. A great evening of celebrating our life together for 35 years married and enjoying all Addison had to offer. Spent the evening at the Del Mar Grand to top it off. Highly recommend for a great evening.

Drew Suthipongchai: The food is great - mixed blend of Californian, Japanese, Thai and Latin American. We had the caviar add on which I think it’s good but makes it 12 courses which is a bit too filling for me

Vivian Anne: . It is a 10 course tasting menu for $375 a person which does not include drinks, tax, or tip. You also have the option to enhance the meal for an additional cost

Zachary: Addison was the best Michelin dining experience I’ve had yet and is definitely deserving of their three stars. I was there a few weeks ago when I traveled to San Diego with my family for spring break. The service was the best I’ve ever had and the food was immaculate. The restaurant itself is worth planning a trip around. I will be returning the next time I’m in San Diego!

Tiffany Creighton: and paired well with the food. The sommelier was amazing, probably the most interesting one I have ever met. She explained the history and story of the winery and the wine/champagne, she really made the drinks come to life. The food menu had many similar dishes as last time, but with a spring twist and this time we both enjoyed the wagyu beef, which was probably one of the best steaks I have had.The service felt welcoming and personal, we enjoyed the stories behind the dishes, produce, and meat! We ended with a tour of the kitchen and meeting the amazing chef team. Huge thank you to the Addison team for the wonderful hospitality, we felt welcomed and really taken care of.

Beatrice: We have been to Addison for multiple special occasions since 2012. The quality of food only go up every time we visited. The food, the service and their attentiveness is top notch. Overall the experience and the food is worth going for.The only down side is that I haven’t been able to find any availability through their online reservation system since they got the Michelin stars.

Megan Gluck: but got a bottle of wine and some cocktails and it was amazing. From when we sat down the level of service was unparalleled. The sommelier was very helpful in picking out a bottle that we would enjoy. After about 3.5 hours and 10 courses later we couldn’t eat more even if we wanted to. Each dish was very well thought out and fun to experience! My friend was gluten free

HG: We had an amazing date night! Easy to find parking, service was wonderful, drinks and food came quickly - we were in and out within an hour. I know it’s basic but the burger here is fantastic!!! So flavorful and didn’t leave me feeling sluggish. It’s a small place but the Ambience is beautiful, very dimly lit and relaxing. I literally have no complaints.

Crater Lake Resort: Place had a swanky and very cool vibe. I would’ve surely loved it had they had a seat at the bar. Don’t get me wrong there was plenty of space at the bar. Just no seats left. Which was weird. Since it was a bar for super short folks or people who like to sit on the floor or people lucky enough to have a seat, I had no other option than to beat feet to the next purveyor of fine spirits.

Lisette Morris: This is a hidden gem. I was so impressed by the interior, the service, the food. And their coffee martinis are to die for.Parking: It's street parking. We found a spot outside the restaurant. So I'll say it was easy. Their is a neighborhood just above you can find parking.

Geeanna T.: Every single person working there was so friendly. I loved the biscuits and gravy. It was a lot of food, we could have split it. My husband got the chilaquiles, and that was also fantastic. The steak on that dish was excellent. They have a unique list of strong cocktails. There is plenty to take in decoration wise. The DJ at brunch was a great addition too. I'd love to go back.

Jason: Solidly unspectacular. Would prob be a top tier bar in most towns. I feel like bars around here have caught up to and passed up werewolf though. Super friendly staff though!

James Gillis: While in town for business, the Wife was craving a "good" burger. Which means it does not need to be fancy just tasty. And the Werewolf delivered! She had the Kiss burger, the flavor hit hard. They know how to do it. I had the garlic ginger wings, sticky and amazing....that dojo sauce.....I could eat that on everything. I can't forget about the drinks, had a couple of the menu and they did not disappoint. If we are ever in SD again, we are stopping here. Might even need to make a special road trip out. Ram: I would definitely recommend this restaurant for seafood lovers.I had an issue with the customer service before, but when I contacted the manager name Sergio Rosas, he took care of it.And the server name Kyle was really nice and kind. Before I got out from the restaurant, I made a reservation for a big group of people. That's much how I was happy with the service.Thank you for the great hospitality and wonderful experience.

Hyeju Yang: It's a restaurant famous for its oysters, but since we can't eat oysters, we ate clam chowder soup, lobster roll, and grilled octopus. The food was of high quality, so I was very satisfied with the meal! Recommended

Evan Ph: 4.5 stars to be exact. Big, beautiful room with solid service. Great happy hour with good value and great fresh oysters. Nice beer selection too. The %&#! on a shell though had a very odd spicy element to it...not too much for the mouth to handle but stayed lingering in your chest in a heartburn type way, which I never get. I'll skip those next time. Wanted to try the octopus which looked great but was told that menu ended at 3:00. It was 3:01 when I inquired with maybe 7 people in the whole restaurant mid-week. Maybe think about 60 seconds of flexibility guys lol. The food runner also couldn't describe anything and made up where the oysters were from. Not the best look. All in all, though a place I would go again.

Evie Ha: A friend recommended this place and it was great! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch! The oysters were super delicious, probably the freshest I've ever had! The octopus was amazingly tender too. The bone marrow was a bit too rich for my taste, though. The service was fantastic as well! And last but not least they don’t have parking lot.

Jose Mercado: Ironside Fish & Oyster, situated a stone's throw from the lively Piazza della Famiglia, offers a delightful dining experience in Little Italy. The ambience is fantastic - a tastefully renovated warehouse with quirky, nautical touches that sets the mood for a fun and flavorful meal. The focus here, as the name suggests, is on fresh seafood. Locals rave about the lobster roll, and for good reason. It's packed with succulent lobster meat, perfectly dressed and bursting with flavor. But my personal favorite was the octopus a la plancha. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, cooked to perfection, and the chorizo added a delicious smokey depth that elevated the dish.If you're looking for a drink to complement your meal, Ironside doesn't disappoint. They boast a great selection of cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Little Italy. And for those who prefer a brew, there's a solid list of local beers on tap.Overall, Ironside Fish & Oyster is a fantastic spot for a delicious seafood meal in a vibrant setting. The friendly atmosphere, coupled with the top-notch cuisine and drinks, makes it a great choice for both locals and visitors alike.

Annie Travel: One door north is worth a visit, the place is unique and yet very spacious. The tents can accommodate large parties and allow guests to enjoy a very special experience.Servers were friendly and helpful, they came to our table a few times to ensure the services met our expectations.Price was very reasonable, there’s many food choices including freshly baked cornbread and stone baked flatbread. The cocktail menu is versatile and offers speciality drinks.

TheMrsVader: We will definitely be back. The salmon was so good and the skin was perfectly crispy. The truffle fries were perfection and the flat iron steak was so tender. The truffle aioli that came on top was decadent and we had the warm chocolate chip cookie for dessert. It was the perfect amount of ooey gooey goodness. Deseree, our waitress made the whole experience all the more enjoyable with her attentiveness. Great service.

Sharon Black: We went here for Restaurant Week and were so glad that we picked this place. We were a bit late to our reservations because finding parking in the neighborhood was an issue. Food was delicious. The roasted beet salad was our favorite appetizer. The mini cornbreads were good too. The Nashville fried chicken sandwich was a hit with the tasty fries. The maple pork chop was a bit on the salty side but juicy. The mushroom flatbread fell a little short compared to the other three dishes. Will have to come back another time when they have their regular menu!

Zen Nezha: I highly recommend this place for a cozy romantic dinner. We got to celebrate our friend proposal and the owner Alex was very friendly and tried to accommodate our table and get us the tent to make the surprise even better. he kept checking on us to make sure everything was good, the food was amazingly cooked. lovely night at the restaurant in the heart of north park

Buon Appetito Restaurant: what do users think?

Reina: The food is okay overall.I was able to enjoy the Little Italy atmosphere at an outdoor table.

Michael K: Authentic Italian!

Aditi Sharma: . Goat cheese

Siegfried Sollinger: Very good Italian cuisine, serviceGreat 👍

Ottimo servizio e prezzi ragionevoli . Siamo molto soddisfatti 😀

mallory nichols: , and their tiramisu was literally the best we’ve ever had. The wine list had something for everyone. Definitely our go to spot in Little Italy.

The Rabbit Hole: what do users think?

Chloe Fox: This place has a really great happy hour, and the semisonic cocktail is always lovely. The bartenders are always really friendly and kind, the bathrooms are clean, and the atmosphere has a great, neighborhoody vibe. The one thing I find slightly disappointing and inconsistent is their pretzel. I really love a good pretzel, and the first time I got one it was fantastic. Crispy crust, but still malleable and a soft, tender interior. The second and third time I’ve gotten it, it was varying degrees of stale/hard. Other than that, this is a fun place to hang out with friends or by yourself for a little drink!

Belinda Exner: Recommended dishes Abnormal Tot-Chos, Cubano Sandwich

Jason Guman: The jalepeño garlic butter wings are my favorite wings in SD. Food is priced fairly and consistently very good. Good selection of beers on tap as well.
