Welcome to the San Diego Circus Center, where you can experience world class circus training in San Diego. Through our classes and performances, students can go on a journey that will let them experience the magic of the circus. We train and develop our students in a safe, professional environment, allowing them to reach their full potential and gain the confidence and skills of a professional performer.

Jean-Luc’s path has led him from performing in the circus arts, to acting and producing in Hollywood, to opening the San Diego Circus Center. He now is happy to share his love of the circus arts and produce the San Diego Circus Festival.

His youth was filled with rock climbing and kayaking and being a leader for Outward Bound. He was inspired when he saw his first circus production and thus began the journey of his own. He completed the program at École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal and has performed three tours with Cirque du Soleil, Pickle Family Circus in San Francisco and Switzerland’s national circus, Circus Knie. Working with Franco Dragone of Cirque du Soleil’s ALEGRIA was pivotal to his development which took him from athlete to artist.
