His experience includes: learning under engineers Brian Reeves (U2, Billy Idol, Miley Cyrus) and Dan Viafore (Olivia Rodrigo, Bastille, NBC’s The Voice) at The Jungle Room in Los Angeles, owning and operating The Grey Brick Recording Studio in San Diego (2014-2020), playing and touring with Hard to Hit (a pop-punk band signed to Manic Kat Records), and a degree in music and recording from Cal Poly Pomona.

We offer analog reel to reel to digital transfers from many formats including 1/4 inch 4 trk, 1/2 trk and 2 trk.

A lot of people like us to remove the tape hiss on these things as well. We use the incredible Waves Restoration Bundle or, we can deliver it without that process.

The time it takes to restore your tape depends upon the age of the tape, and how the tapes have been stored. Usually, we bake the tapes in a special convection oven for about 6 to 8 hours in order to counteract the "Sticky Shed Syndrome" common in many older tapes.

There is a one time $50.00 charge for the baking process. Typically, you figure the length of the material multiplied by 3 (sometimes 4) as the average time it takes to get these done right. We can also master the final product to current volume standards if you would like.

Utilizing the Alesis QS-8, 88 key controller, you have access to every keyboard sound imaginable. The beauty of recording this way is that the performance is recorded as audio AND midi. Because of this, we can fix any bad notes that might occur and then re-render the corrected performance to a new audio track. This technique also lets you change keys or tempos after you have played the song without any loss of fidelity. Brilliant!
