Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Lizbeth Lepe: Fogo de Chao has exceptional service and food. It is my go to everytime I have visitors from out of town. This place never disappoints for the exceptional service, the amazing food, the cleaningness to the atmosphere. Servers and gauchos go out of their way to make sure we have a great experience. The best restaurant in my opinion. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Laura Molina: Went on a Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. Waiters were so attentive and would pass by with the different cuts of meat often and they served you a good portion everytime. Never felt rushed. You start off with a buffet, all salads and veggies. Mashed potatoes are brought to the table as well as cheesy bread-its DELICIOUS . You can ask for chimichurri sauce.

Tedine Gutierrez: We had a reservation and were seated right away. From the moment we were seated my husband, son and I were waited on with such kindness and quick service. Irvin and Sylvia waited on our table and I give them 5 Stars for being attentive, kind and fun! My so. Pitched a big College game today and got the win. They brought him a Lava Cake to celebrate. Phenomenal service! Thank you both so much!!

Sean Seungwon Jeong: Very good restaurant. The meats were really good. My stomach was really full.

Spooky Grim: is why you're there! This place was great. I'll definitely go again. We were there for a birthday and yes they did indeed come by and sing and give a complementary cheesecake slice. 100/100 stars if I could. And for the curious ones, my table of 4 with the 2 seafood upgrades cost 301 dollars.

venus velasco: Recommended dishes Salad Bar, Pão De Queijo, Meat Options, Tri Tip Roast, Cheese Rolls, Picanha

Alex King: Been here for a couple special occasions now. Service is sort of dependent on the mood of the staff. Overall they are great. Generally, the food is fantastic. If you like meat, they have a wide selection of options that are quite delicious. If not, the salad bar has an array of vegetarian options, but this is a place with a focus on meats for sure. The pineapple is a must for when you have hit the meat limit! This has become a favorite of mine in San Diego, we have a few Brazilian steakhouse options and I think that this is probably the best. Haven't tried the new one at the headquarters yet, but the price is better here and the quality is worth it, so not sure if I will ever give the new place a chance,!

Cherie D: It's giving 5 stars. Absolutely amazing. I do not have ONE suggestion to add to this place.Get the bread!! Probably the fluffiest roll I've ever in my life. The butter that comes along with it OMG.Salad, YUM, love that they played it for both me and my husband to share.Ribeye-- FANTASTIC and the peppercorn sauce- I am obsessed. CHEF PLEASE TEACH ME.Drinks were so good and actually cheaper than most places these days.I WILL BE BACK SOON

Edward Blazejewski: I had dinner here during my stay in San Diego and I was very happy with my meal. The cocktail I had ordered was very good. For food I started with the C-Star Ceasar, which was very big, but light and not too filling. Very simple Ceasar with more of an oil based dressing, nothing crazy. For my meal I chose the 14 oz. Ribeye steak, which was delicious. The meat was cooked a perfect medium rare and the fat just melted in my mouth. I opted to order a side of the Creamy Horseradish sauce which was a great addition. All the steaks come with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus, which both weren’t anything special. I also ordered a side of the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, which were disappointing. They sound great on the menu, but overall were too salty and the pancetta was too tough to enjoy. I wish I would have ordered the Mac &. Cheese instead. For desert I had my waitress choose for me because all the options sounded great. She brought me out the Sticky Toffee Cake which was delicious. A great choice by her.I was seated at the counter in front of the kitchen. It was fun to watch the inner workings and how the food is prepared. Overall a great dinner, worth the price for the quality and quantity of food you receive.

marjon farz: I would definitely put this place on the top of my list for a nice dining steakhouse. I went here for a dinner date with my boyfriend mid-week, and the restaurant was decently packed! The dinner experience felt very private. The service is very tentative. The ambiance is dimillect, posh, and elegant. It's a perfect spot for a fancy dinner date or celebration. This place is decently pricey, so I would keep that in mind, I wouldn't say it somewhere casual to go. There is no dress code. However, most people are dressed business casual. I am literally still dreaming about the steak I had here! Alongside everything else, I was amazing. They bring complenary bread, and that's where the taste buds begin to be stimulated! We ordered the clams, mac and cheese, and Brussel sprouts, alongside her stakes. Everything came out warm, tasty, and fresh!I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some good quality steak in a classy restaurant.

Helen Simmons: The customer service here was AMAZING! We had about 3 waiters check on us every two minutes! They kept our drinks filled and made sure we had everything we needed at all times! I called ahead to ask if they would assist me with a proposal and they were so on board! They made my proposal so much easier! I didn’t have to say anything to them! They were on point and on time! The manager Megan was absolutely amazing! She gave me a cue that she was coming with her plate and I went down on one knee! She even recorded for me and sent me the video! She was EVERYTHING! When I come back to San Diego, I will forever be a customer!

Alicia Sanchez: My husband and I got to meet Chef Deborah Scott tonight on our 22nd wedding anniversary. We love her restaurants and always enjoy Island Prime. Steak was cooked perfectly and meltsin your mouth. Lobster delicious as always. Only negative was we were say at a booth by the door and it was pretty cold so that made for a not so perfect evening but it was pretty damn close

jennifer tremblay: Amazing food, bev and service! The hostess, Adrianna, was very sweet and welcoming. Our server, Jarred, and his assistant, Brandon, were also spectacular. From start to finish, we all agree it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the portobello filet mignon. Not only a quality steak, but the bordelaise on top… 🤤🤤🤤A+ 🙏🏼✨🙌🏼

Chris Bailey: Dry aged in house, the steaks are delicious. A great section of beer wine and spirits. I was ble to enjoy a nice Trappist which are usually hard to find. You can even get a flight of espresso martinis. I would avoid the shellfish, you are coming here for the steaks. The sides are great, they have a nice twist on mashed potatoes. If you are looking for wagyu, they can accommodate you.

David Beach: Love this place. Have been several times now and each time the food and service were outstanding. Would confidently recommend Greystone to my friends and family!Parking: Down Town parking in San Diego seems to be an afterthought from the city planners. so I always pad my arrival time by 15 min.Kid-friendliness: Probably would not bring my kids here.Wheelchair accessibility: its downtown San Diego.. so WC access is spotty at best... but the main floor dining room is totally WC Accessible.

Jenna Permann: Just went with my mom for a late mother's day celebration at lunch time. I saw a review saying they just let their waiter guide them through everything so we did the same, and ended up sharing an AMAZING ribeye. All the food was garlicky and salty in the best way, and our waiter also asked for my drink preferences and I loved what I got. Very surprised by how amazing of an experience this was. Jeff was great!

J T: Great spot I decided to stop at for dinner and decided to get a few apps in stead as they sounded really good so I had some of theoc oysters, octopus and seared yellowfin tuna, along with their wedge salad, which was amazing. Their house made dressing vibe was really cool. Open air service was on point definitely would come back and definitely would recommend the spot.

Cornel Ecuacion: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Born and Raised in Little Italy, San Diego, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the amazing decor that perfectly blends vintage charm with modern elegance. The highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the incredible cocktails crafted by Ben, the drinkmaster extraordinaire. Ben is a true magician when it comes to all things cocktail. Not only did he flawlessly execute the classics, but he also impressed us with his ability to create bespoke cocktails tailored to our tastes. Each drink was a masterpiece, showcasing his deep knowledge and passion for mixology. The service at Born and Raised was polished and attentive, making us feel pampered throughout our visit. The food was equally impressive, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It's clear that the culinary team takes immense pride in their work.Born and Raised has quickly become my favorite dining experience in San Diego. If you're looking for a place that combines fantastic food, stellar cocktails, and top-notch service in a stunning setting, this is it. Don’t miss out on the chance to have Ben craft you a cocktail—it's an experience you won't forget!

Hyeju Yang: I went there because I heard it was very famous in San Diego.Review of uni pasta from someone who can't eat uni: It was a dish worth trying even for people like me. The slightly sour taste of the pasta sauce went well with uni, so it was delicious!!The recommended wine went well with the steak, so it was a very satisfying dinner.

Rich Hill: Born and Raised is a remarkable dining establishment that stands out among its peers. From the moment we stepped through its doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of exceptional service and impeccable attention to detail. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary, with each dish meticulously crafted and executed to perfection.

Justin Flynn: Service and atmosphere is 5 stars. For appetizers we got wontons and Taiwanese chicken. Both dishes were very good and would highly recommend. For our meals we got the filet mignon and braised beef kare kare. Again both dishes were very good and the steak could be cut using your fork only. Went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint.

LULU LIVE Art: rious how they created the food. I am glad I booked this restaurant because no matter the atmosphere or the foods are amazing. I think they perfectly combined Asian cuisine elements into western dinings. We had Mantou, which is the traditional breads that I ate growing up, it was so unique and nice to pair with sour cream butter. The charred broccolini is so well charred, very flavorful. Both beef chick and Seabass entrees are very delicious. The beef chick is so soft and tender, it was pretty salty tho, it was nice to eat with paired sponge bread. Sichuan spicy seabass, the taste is very authentic, I love the numb taste from the Sichuan pepper. My husband got a compliment mousse cake for bday cake and we also had a ube puff pastry dish for dessert, very nice service and good desserts. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Only one suggestion - it will be nice to have plain noodles or soba noodles to go with the Seabass, the soup inside will be nice to let the noodles soak in.

Nette Rab: was awesome. Personable and friendly. She always came by ensuring we were enjoying our dishes.Food:I can't remember all the dishes but this is what we had on our last visit.A5 Wagyu TartareSweet and Sour CauliflowerLechon KawaliA5 Old FashionedWagyu Fried RiceThe Tartare was delicious, and I also loved the flavors of the fried rice. I was not a fan of the cauliflower. However, my friends enjoyed it. The lechon tasted great, and the sauce elevated it. The only negative is that it wasn't as crunchy as I would have loved it to be. I still ate it as it was tender, just fatty

Quin Whiddon: The atmosphere is very sexy and the decor consists of olive green and gold making for a most luxurious setting. In addition to the surroundings, the playlist is fire and helps to create an energetic atmosphere.I started with the Artemis cocktail and while enjoying my dinner of spicy seabass and broccolini, I ended the meal with a glass of Chenin blanc. I also got the crab fried rice to go. My meal was delicious and Shanice was a great and attentive waitress. I will definitely be back with friends so that I can try more dishes!

Josh Laroche: Animae is an amazing restaurant! The chef represents her heritage very well. Everything that I ate was amazing and well put together. The wait staff were not only well versed in the menu items, but what pairings would complement each other. I tried flavor combinations that I never would have mixed together, but that blew my mind. I cannot give enough compliments to this establishment. I will be back again for sure!Vegetarian options: The staff is well versed in food allergies and dietary restrictionsParking: Valet parking is $20 and directly outside the establishment

Maritza Padilla: High-end restaurant, amazing service and the menu is explained to you... plus you get great recommendations from the servers based on the most ordered items. Definitely try all the recommendations. Portions are small but they can be shared with a party of 4 or 5 if you're ordering multiple appetizers plus your entree. The spicy seabass entree is amazing but is VERY spicy.

Peter Lucas: and shared them all around the table, tapas style. This was a wonderful way to enjoy a great variety of dishes. The Dinuguan beef cheeks was a favorite. The Szechuan Spicy Seabass got high marks as well. Despite the beef-forward labels, there was a wide selection of meat-free dishes.Their craft cocktails were enjoyed by all of us. The Artemis was a favorite.Parking: Valet. Or an ACE lot across Broadway. Expensive lot: $20 only gets you 2 hours
