Our class structure is 10-15 min of warm up, 15-20 minutes of technique, and 30 minutes of rolling or sparring. If you are new, we may ask you to sit out and watch for the first class of the rolling/sparring sessions while an instructor talks to you about what we are doing. Safety is our number one priority.

Granite bay jiu-jitsu is a certified Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association Academy under 7th degree black belt, Master Charles Gracie. Professor Ryan and granite bay jiu-jitsu are also certified by Master Carlos Gracie Jr’s IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation), Master Rickson Gracie’s JJGF (Jiu-Jitsu Global Federation), and Master Robson Gracie’s FJJRio(Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Rio de Janeiro). He has also taught collegiate seminars out of state.
