At Elizabeth House, we create that community and invite the women we serve to become life-long family. With support, vulnerable mothers can create a life of safety and love for their children and become the best they can be.

Leading the way in our community through the love of Christ, Elizabeth House provides a residential program, life-long personalized care, and community-based wraparound support for pregnant and parenting women and their children. This is done through a holistic program that addresses physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic needs.

This year we celebrate our 27th anniversary as an organization. It has been a joy to serve alongside our staff, volunteers, and partners!

Our flagship residential program has capacity for 15-20 women and children per year and we serve an average of 175 alumni each year.

The children who have called Elizabeth House home are over 521, and we treasure the babies born in our care.

Founded in 1983, Journey House provides emotional support and guidance, as well as financial aid to help them with the cost of attending college and vocational schools.

Our goal is to create opportunities for advancement in education, economic stability, and a better quality of life for former foster youth.

Of foster youth who age out of the system will have gainful employment by the age of 24

Of males in foster care have been arrested (compared to 17% of peers not in foster care)

DID YOU KNOW that a child in the foster care or probation state system, who cannot be reunified with his family or become adopted, remains in foster care until he or she ages out at 18 years old with the option to stay in foster care up to age 21? On the day of their “emancipation”, they are expected to be able to provide their own food, shelter, clothing, transportation, medical care, and college expenses with little additional assistance.
