It’s a family business. The head of the business is charmingly old school. For instance, when I gave him $500 in cash for a marble table top that they’d deliver later, he thanked me but didn’t offer a receipt. Ordinarily alarm bells would have gone off in my mind, but in this instance I realized that he expected the whole transaction to take place in an atmosphere of trust, so I went with no receipt. It was fine, of course and neither of us mentioned it again. The marble was delivered as promised but when I started to pay the delivery charge he just smiled and waved the charge away. Afterward, I wondered whether he would have waived the delivery charge if I’d asked for a receipt. Someone on another review site mentioned that the owner was cranky, but he was the very opposite of that with me. I think if you’re friendly and respectful, you’ll get the same in return. Their prices, by the way, are more than fair. Highly recommended.
