It features 22 teppanyaki tables and a cozy sushi bar offering Happy Hour each Monday through Thursday from 4-7 p.m. The restaurant was designed to mimic the azekura-style, reminiscent of a Japanese country storehouse. In Japan, such buildings absorb moisture in winter and expand to keep out the cold. During warmer months, the wood beams contract to let air flow through and provide ventilation. The Ontario location is one of only two azekura-style restaurants in the Benihana chain.
