Rick Macklin: Dr. Liu is an amazing Urologist and highly skilled Surgeon and if there is any question as to why she has so many 5 star ratings, it's simply because she has earned them from her loyal patients who think the world of her as I do. She is young, has had the finest education and training which I believe is vitally important because her patients can be assured that they are receiving the best treatment and most modern medicine available. She is a great communicator, has outstanding bedside manners and a photographic memory. She has recently opened a new office on Spring Street in Long Beach which has great parking and easy access to her new beautiful office. All furnishing, equipment, medical tools and devices are new and the staff is most professional. While I live in OC and have numerous local fine doctors available to me in Newport Beach, I choose to drive to Long Beach because I know I will receive the best medical treatment available from Dr. Jennifer Liu.

Tyson Gamble: I've been seeing Dr. D since July 2016. He visited me at Long Beach Memorial after I suffered a spinal cord injury. I immediately felt at ease with his presence and bedside manner. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind, genuine, and takes the time to explain complicated issues. In addition to his impeccable medical knowledge, his true gift is empathy and compassion. He always encourages me, offers hope, and is there if I suffer any medical emergency. His staff is responsive and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. D and am beyond thankful for his services!
William Bower: I began working with Dr DeOrio approximately 10 years ago following a prostatectomy and at the recommendation of my surgeon. I have always found Dr DeOrio to be knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring. He explains himself carefully, and I have never felt rushed during an appointment. I have seen several urologists over the past dozen years, and Dr DeOrio is unquestionably one of the very best. On top of all that, he's just a very nice fellow.
Dave Vandervoet: Male urology is both sensitive and complex subject. After two urinary complications following a two hour surgery, one being a painful catheter experience, my surgeon recommended that I visit Dr. DeOrio to try and understand the reason for my complications. I was a little nervous but Dr. DeOrio was very patient and understanding. Being an engineer, I had many detailed questions and Dr. DeOrio patiently answered all of my questions. He sometimes made sketches to show me what he was explaining to me. He performed a simple non-invasive evaluation of my bladder in his office. I left my office visit feeling very relieved about my health and urinary system. If you have urinary concerns or issues, I highly recommend that you contact Dr. DeOrio so that he can help you like he helped me.

James Klemme: Thanks to Dr. DeOrio my quality of life is so much better than it was last year. I had an enlarged prostate which meant frequent urination and I mean frequent. Whenever I went out I knew places I could stop to use their bathroom, but with this pandemic everything was closed. Dr. DeOrio operated on me in November 2020. The operation is called a TURP and it worked. It's been almost a year and things are so much better. I am very very grateful to Dr. DeOrio for taking care of me. He's the best!If you need to see a urologist, see Dr. DeOrio. His office is state of the art and his staff are wonderful.
Jennifer Wilson: I am writing this review on behalf of my husband. My husband is an old school, I don’t want to switch doctors kind of a guy. After some convincing I was able to get him to visit Dr. DeOrio. He came home raving about what the doctor had to say as far as treatment options for his prostate and bladder. He has since had multiple successful treatments with the doctor and every experience has been 5 star. We both sleep better at night knowing Dr. DeOrio has our best interest in mind. I highly recommend this Doctor.
Nunya Bidness: I have a bad kidney stone problem. I have been to a few different urologists and had lithotripsy procedures many times since 2004. My most recent brush with kidney stones included a 12mm stone on my right side and a 10mm stone in my left side. This time, I tried Dr. DeOrio because I was not happy with prior urologists. So glad I did. He has been very attentive. He has gone out of his way, and above and beyond for me. Plus, he was the first urologist who did a urine study on me. As a result, he put me on a simple treatment which has greatly reduced occuramces of kidney stones. He has been a life saver. As a side note, he has great bedside manner and he takes the time to listen to me. He also explains things very well.
ozzie zea: when you talk about Cancer, its not the best feeling or experience, Dr DeOrio and his stuff make sure you are well taken care, well informed and Doc will be the first one to tell you, go and explore, ask question to other people, I had prostate cancer and 5 months later I'm cancer free I will talk to anyone that is confused and want an opinion....... you never have to wait more than 5 minutes in the lobby or waiting room .... I have recommended at least 5 people so far to see Dr. DeOrio
