Bobbie Bomber: Been here twice now and both time the food has been AMAZING! The food is cooked fresh the staff are so nice and welcoming and happy to go over the menu. Had a few different dishes now and everything has been amazing so far. Can't wait to stop by again!

Andrew: Only have good things to say about this place. The poke and rice are super fresh and hand mixed by the staff for the ultimate poke experience. The owner, Joon, is so cool and friendly. She grew up in Hawaii and brings so much nuance to making excellent poke. Ingredients are top notch and fresh. The staff prep your food with some serious attention to detail. Easy ordering process - you complete a placard with your order and they get to making it.Poke in general is overpriced and pretty standard in terms of quality. Poke Bar stands out and is a go-to for Downtown Long Beach. They also make a bomb bulgogi burrito wrapped in seaweed with sushi rice.
LT: Usually hit this place once every week or two. The wife and I get a medium bowl of 3 proteins and share it. There's plenty for two at around $20. Not bad for dinner nowadays. Everything is good. Brown rice, kale noodles, tuna, salmon, scallops, shrimp, crab, avocado, etc... Highly recommended!Parking: 20 minute parking right out front. I have disabled parking, so no problem.Wheelchair accessibility: Not in a wheelchair, but need forearm crutches to move. No problem getting in and out of the establishment.

Ambience is nothing fancy but since the food was good, it didn’t matter at all.The best part of this place is that they use biodegradable cutlery. 4worldlovers: Poke had its start as a simple Hawaiian appetizer, fish with seaweed, salt, candlenut, and limu. When Japanese (then later, Korean) laborers brought their cuisines (and condiments) to Hawaii, poke began to change to look and taste like the poke bowls we know and love today.
We started Poke Pola, or Poke Bowl in Hawaiian, as an homage to this unique record of both indigenous people and Asian immigrants to the United States. We invite you to visit our house and share our appreciation for a uniquely American dish.

Kacie Parente: Omg loved this place huge bowls 6 steps to build ur bowl fun. Dog friendly on the patio. My bowl was so big I had to take alot home. Pleasant atmosphere with a cool ocean breeze and shiny happy people. Loved it.Vegetarian options: My friend is vegan which is why we decided to try Poke Pola. We were ravenous after a fun day at Rosie's dog Beach. She ordered tofu and veggies she ate every bite . Guess it was truly delish.

Everything is always fresh, every time i go in I say “it smells fishy” in a good way lolThe portions are just right, most people I take say “wow, this is a lot” but I’m like “give me more please” lolThey have indoor and outdoor seating, so feel free to bring the pups and enjoy the outdoor seating.The service is always great, the owners are always present and from the outside looking in, they always seem to be doing anything and everything they ask their employees to do. The staff usually seem to be a younger group and they are always very friendly and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable on the menu and always helpful with suggestions if needed. Everyone seems to work very well together which is one of the main reasons I love coming back.
