Long Beach City College, Liberal Arts Campus: what do users think?

Mikado Shokai: I've been going there for about 25 years, but vintage bikes and parts are getting less and less every year. The parking lot is also quiet, and the number of visitors is about one-third compared to the peak? I look forward to the future revival.

King Fella: The amazing campus and beautiful time

Dhyey Naik: Great professors and wonderful staff...

Marlena Sutton: Long Beach City College was the best ever when I was there. Counselors, ASL interpreters, and staff are so friendly to the students.

alessandro legnani: Beautiful town by the sea, very lively and animated. You can see and visit the historic Qeen Mary ship.I recommend booking tickets in advance.

Ann S: this school has amazing resources, the viking vault is a life saver, as well as basic needs! this school and staff will really do everything they can to help you suceed.

Ashley Beau (Ursula): As an older student, I felt pretty out of place here, and my social awkwardness did have some setbacks where it shouldn’t have. On the other hand, if you actually are trying here, you will be treated right by admin, especially as a dss student. Honestly, after going to another cc where the academia dark side kicked in, I appreciated Lbcc even more. Keep an eye on this school. They have major setbacks from the local public school system, but what they do as a school, should they get past that, will set them leaps and bounds over all other local cc campuses. Oh, and maybe start a forensics team, to be competitive.

Danny Alvarez Rosales: I love coming to Long Beach City College.

arte 0.0: Dual enrollment and every teacher I've had were nice and genuinely liked their job

Bridni Jones: It's clean . All of the staff are respectful and accommodating. Pcc campus and lac campus are great. Good programs .

Victor Tapia: Wow so many antiques to choose from

Sato Academy of Mathematics and Science: what do users think?

Friday Mullen-Freeman: great accepting, welcoming, caring and supportive place. all of the teachers are great and very understanding of circumstance.

kira pearson: so cool so much better than cams fr

Just A Random Line Segment: Sato is academically rigorous, yet it’s a school of a bunch of goofballs. From the classes to the students, Sato is everything you could want in a high school. The campus is small, but the community is rad. Sato prepares you for the future while still letting you exist in the moment. In short, Sato is small but mighty. Ayyyy, Sato forever! :D

Jose Antonio Gutierrez: I brought an inflatable pencil to school once and they confiscated it as a weapon

James Mills: The best engineering and biomedical education in LBUSD! Lots if unique experiences for students, such as their aerospace program, competition teams and frequent field trips. Experienced staff with unique skill sets. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Mona Merlo: This was the best experience for transportation of our students. Robert was a fabulous driver, knowledgeable and professional and the bus was prestige.

Drear: Very nice

Ameren R: in 9th grade. In 10th grade we offer principals of engineering which is basically a step up from intro to design. In 11th grade we offer aerospace engineering where we explore robot systems. In 12th grade we offer digital electronics where we explore digital circuits. For the Biomedical Pathway we have a course entitled Human Body Systems where freshman to labs to explore how all the body systems work together. A few other courses related to the biomedical pathway is medical interventions where students explore ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. Also Anatomy and Physiology is a student favorite. Many pathway classes are geared by PLTW college courses and many of them do count for college credit starting in the 9th grade. One of the cons to Sato is that there are no sports so the school can get a little boring due to the lack of fun activities. There is a big variety of clubs at our school and I recommend Key Club, HOSA, Red Cross, RC Flight, and Firebeather Rocketry.Overall, Sato is an amazing school if you know you want a career in engineering and biomedical science. This school, will get you through college quicker and your studies will be easier. But, if you aren't prepared to forget what outside looks like because you're always doing homework, this school isn't for you. :

Guillermo Molina: The workload can be pretty heavy. Resources limited in some areas. Other than that it's a good school, still building itself up
