Airmett: Korean-style Japanese takeout restaurant with nice service. Nothing incredible flavor-wise but maybe the only place in Long Beach focusing on rice bowls. Quite popular with occasional lines. Expect to pay about $15 for a dish.
Sunstruck T.: Very hearty portions for their udon! The udon noodles were chewy and incredibly delectable, and the broth paired well with the tempura and additional condiments. A great way to spend a cool evening in Long Beach!

Jordan: Pretty good sushi, would come back again. The yellow tail nigiri is good but the fatty yellow tail is even better. One thing that I didn't like about it is that they put a small dab of garlic paste on top it it which ruined the taste for me. I had to keep taking that off. The same thing happened for the salmon sushi except they put one piece of caper on it, had to remove that as well. But the fish was fresh and the price is about average for nigiri around $7 for 2 piece nigiri depending on what you get. They also take your phone number for discount for your next visit.

John Walker: The yuzu snapper with truffle oil that Sam made was a clincher. That and the amazingly personable service from all the staff complimented the amazingly fresh fish and great vibe. Oooh before the Sammy Delight, gently smoked and seared snapper with crispy onions and Masako wow.
Holly Torpey: I love Oho Sushi Studio. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. The setting is a little quirky but that adds to its charm. My only complaint is that they still use plastic takeout packaging. When they start using compostable containers I will happily go back to ordering takeout from them, but until then, I’ll order sushi elsewhere unless I’m planning to dine in because I’m trying to reduce my use of single-use plastics.
