I have purchased my own sewing machine, and I was able to complete a beautiful slip dress on my own while the classes were paused for summer. It’s been so fun to create a community of fellow seamstresses. Highly recommend!

The owner, Camilla, starts by teaching beginners how to use the machines and then has a simple series of projects that progress in difficulty. If you are more advanced she can help you take it to the next level. The studio space is clean and well organized and she has a great shop where you can purchase the machines she uses in the class. I highly recommend this place!

Elizabeth Leung: Bought a Janome Skyline from Moore’s this year. This store is by far better than most of the smaller dealers in the area. It is well stocked with a good range of premium machines. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to “test drive” the machines I was interested in, and the staff who did the demo was patient and competent. Post-purchase, I was also able to get free lessons to learn how to use the machine. All in all, it was a very good purchase experience. The only potential area to further improve is to provide some online classes since LA is quite spread out and traffic is bad. I recommend this dealer.

Robyn is so helpful and if you have any questions she gets right back to you. I wish they had even more classes at this store, because the teacher Lily is also one of the best and is young and understands technology . That is important when you have a very technical machine that can do ANYTHING! George the owner has been the best for me well over 20 years and any time I visit another Sewing store I am disappointed that they are not as knowledgeable as his staff. So I make the 30 mile drive to Huntington Beach. Please come to LA.
