Oh my, that sushi and quality of fish is just incredible.At this point I'm pretty sure my wife and I have had just about everything on the menu and nothing disappoints.If it's your first time be sure to get the sushi tastings. There are 2 different ones and they each serve 2 people. One is 4 kinds of sushi from their special house ones. The other is 3 kinds of bluefin. Both are fantastic and really show you the quality of fish.For the rolls our favorites are the salmon lime, dusty roll, and crispy tartar.This place is absolutely fantastic and the owners are super nice too.

It is slightly more pricey than other sushi options in long beach but the quality of the sushi makes the price worth it. I had the sushi tasting plate and my wife ordered a few specialty rolls and we loved every single thing we ate. Particularly enjoyed the sweet salmon and the scallops. I could taste the pickled onion and the cheese but the carrots had no crunch It was dress with unimpressive dressing I can't detect any real favor. Black pepper did nothing to enhance taste. Now for pistachio tiramisu that was real good is why I gave a 4 star review, Decadent, delicious taste of pistachio tiramisu. It a dallop of cream sprinkle with mini chocolate chips with half a raspberry and a mint leaf. It had a sponge like cake with pistachio filling covered with pistachio flavored pudding. If I ever go back it will be for that. Pistachio tiramisu. I will try something else on the menu but I won't have that salad again. Service was okay. It was fast but it felt unfriendly. Sorry that was my impression.
Steve Hunsader: Candied Pecan and Gorgonzola salad had great presentation, but gorgonzola appeared cubed, and bland. Ordered Free Range chicken as a protein topper. Surprised at toughness of chicken, although flavor was good. Tenderizing seems to be a necessity for this type of protein topper. Nice beer choices, happy to serve a sample when making a decision. This venue is part of a happening area. Your kids will love the lawn out front.

Honestly, all the photos I saw on Google and Yelp was not very convincing that this was the restaurant I wanted to take my friend for her birthday. I am so glad I took her! I just don’t find bunch of people standing and talking when guests are coming in to be very rude and unappealing. Took good photos for us, got us everything we requested on a prompt manner and explained the specials real well.Food wise, scallops were the best thing we had, it’s totally worth it please get it. The portions aren’t big though. If you’re getting scallops as an entree, make sure you have appetizer, salad or a soup unless you have a tiny appetite. Our next favorite was the tuna tartare. I feel like flavors could’ve been better though. I make poke nachos and makis at home all the time. In terms of seasoning, something was lacking in that tuna tartare.Our least favorite was the mussels. It was a creamy sauce but I couldn’t really figure out what it was supposed to be. Not a hearty tomato base, not totally creamy either. Somewhere In between. Bread was good but the sauce lacked much flavor. Mussels were too tiny, lacked meat.Would I revisit? Definitely! Next time will try steak, fish entree.

Arun Madhavan: Great Thai restaurant with interesting decor. The Thai crispy rolls left a little to be desired, but that's probably because they weren't dripping in oil, so no complaints. I had the red curry - which is available vegetarian without fish sauce on request - and it was as good as at my favorite restaurant back home in Saint Paul, MN. I also had their house hot sake, which was certainly up to par.Service was a little slow, perhaps because we showed up a few minutes after they opened. Overall I'd highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Their curries can be made vegetarian on request, i.e. with no fish sauce or shrimp paste.

I ordered the Panay curry and the drunken noodles, and both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The Panay curry had a rich coconut milk sauce with tender chicken and vegetables, and the drunken noodles had a spicy kick with plenty of basil and garlic. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food. 4/5 stars.
