They were so loving and considerate while also being professional and informative. I am SO GLAD I came here. Highly recommend coming here if you are bummed on being pregnant, scared, have little support, or just want to be in the care of real people who care about you just as much as they care about your baby. I refuse to be seen at a 'regular' hospital or clinic. Thank you to everyone at Horizon!!!!!

They made the process hassle free and were able to accommodate me the same day, which I really appreciated. They’re very informative and compassionate. I was nervous and they definitely made me feel at ease and sent me home with a nice send off bag with goodies, baby books and informational pamphlets. I’m so glad this place exists and I would highly recommend using their services. A big thank you to all the staff and anyone involved with this clinic!

I've worked closely with management on several events as well as performed routine and mundane tasks for the back office, which has allowed me to see the inner workings of HPC up close. In all my experience, I have seen and heard nothing but genuine concern and compassion for people faced with difficult, potentially life-shattering decisions. Every one of the staff and management have demonstrated inexhaustable determination to help those in genuine need of the services provided by HPC.
amy flaxman: This place is amazing. They offered me a free ultrasound to verify my pregnancy and ease my concerns. The staff was very friendly.In regards to the 2 negative reviews, this clinic only see pregnant women early in pregnancy to offer ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy and help get on Medi-cal. They do not refer to abortions and they are nothing like planned parenthood, who does not do ultrasounds. They’re a non-profit and they do amazing work. I’m so grateful for Horizon Pregnancy Clinic.

Geri Guzman: I guess you can say this is a biased review because my parents are the founders of this organization but I myself have been a mother in this program when i became pregnant and ended up on the street myself. Before you can even fill out an application at his nesting place, there is a policy book that has rules and regulations, it takes over 30 minutes to go through this book to make sure before you move into the home you know what you're getting yourself into. When i lived here i did not follow these policies, in fact i was there just to have a place to stay, that is not what this home is meant for, it is a place for you to grow, to change and to better your life for you and your children. Although i did not graduate from this program like the way i wish i would have i still changed my life around and now work along side with my parents in the home now. And as a staff member of this home I see hands on the community we deal with here. The negative reviews on here are done out of retaliation when they are being asked to leave. We never just put mothers out on the street, we give them time and resources they need to make sure they are safe as they exit. There are times when they have to be asked to leave immediately or are escorted by police when threats or violence is being shown. Prior to moms being asked to leave, we issue write ups and warnings until we have no choice but to let them go. This is a program, it's set in place for the moms here to benefit from. Some people can say it's a "cult" but it is a private, Christian, loving home. We are open for tours if you'd like to see it yourself. If you have any questions, i'd be happy to answer them, you can find our info on our website!
Alma Suarez: Pastor Al and Ms. Judy are saints ! Doing God's work day in and day out. They have dedicated their entire life to helping mother's like myself catch a break. I was able to change my life forever thanks to this ministry. I would not be here today if it wasn't for HNP and their dedicated staff. The mom that lived in the room next to me is still my very dear friend till this day...13 years later! I miss cooking in the kitchen with all my sisters in Christ. This will forever be home. 5 stars all the way!

At 36 weeks I began to rapidly search for Christian or conservative birth centers, it was tough finding one specific ones, I had a first interview with LBBC & after a tour I made up my mind to stop searching & stick to the place. The front desk workers were always so friendly which is one thing I was looking for “great customer service.” All the midwifes were so kind and I loved the one on one honest connections. The Midwife that was on shift the morning of my labor was very patient, dedicated, and helpful & awesome to work with. I was able to find a Christian Doula around 38 weeks so it tied everything in perfectly! I’m so glad I was able to have a natural birth, and not a stressful/ controlled hospital birth!! I definitely see myself giving birth here again.
Elisa Gemme: The attention to detail and integrity of the owner is incredible. I’ve had the wonderful experience of working with Meredith in other projects and her level of care, patience, understanding, ability to assess and adapt are amazing. She is whole-heartedly invested in her clients feeling empowered and knowledgeable about the process; exploring all possible options and outcomes when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I highly recommend choosing Long Beach Birth Center for your childbirth experience.

As for Dr.khalifa the specialist he is so kind as well he makes you feel safe & comfortable while you are in his care, he delivered my daughter in 2022 & was amazing ! Loved that they see you by appointment and honor it they don’t have a lot of women packed in the lobby it’s usually me and 1 other guest . The two ladies at the front desk are so sweet caring and welcoming they make you feel comfortable and are happy to help and answer questions . So happy I found them.

I am going to refer people to him because he is such an amazing doctor. I felt respected and heard which is rare these days. He answered my questions patiently and with compassion. He even called to check up on my son and I. I am very grateful since I developed hypertension the last three weeks of my pregnancy, and I was grateful Dr Khalifa was a phone call away. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes himself available to his patients. I was honestly surprised since I am guilty of having preconceived notions of male OBGYNs. Family Serikawa: I wanted to leave my "5 cents " here... The wait to make an appointment is greater than 25 min and the wait to see the doc is long as well , BUT I believe it's because doctors are actually spending a good amount of time with patients to ensure they've been taken care off . I saw 2 different doctors with 2 pregnancies and both were great.I'd rather wait and see a specialist who spends quality time with me than be seen right away and get " kicked out" 5 min later with questions unanswered. This is my choice and mine only who you'd prefer is up to you !
