I need a new groomer and I really like what I'm reading which is why I'm willing to come from OC for my grooming needs.Theres a few Negative Nancies who's poor reviews are baseless and appear to be fake. Even so, the owner replies to such posts and offers to make it right with those unsatisfied customers. What more could you ask for?I look forward to making my first appointment today and hopefully Zeus and I like it here..............Follow-up Review:I just left with my fur baby and he looks great! I'm 100% satisfied with his makeover and the staff and owner were amazing.The owner even gave me some tips on what I can do to improve Zeus's oral hygiene and skin/fur.I have found my new groomer and I will be bringing my other dog here as well.Thanks a million from the Halstead family

Amber Holland: I have a four month old puppy and let’s just say he is VERY rambunctious. I called on a Saturday to schedule an appointment and the owner said bring him in. I was kind of shocked. Like right now? I brought him in and was terrified never having left him anywhere before. I came back two hours later and I didn’t even recognize my own dog. I teared up a little because he just looked so darn cute. The owner was so kind and obviously has the patience of a saint. I’m so blown away at the outcome! Especially knowing my little “angel” and how rambunctious he is. The first and last picture is a “before” picture and the others are after.

My fawn pug sheds like crazy and they managed to clean up all of her shedding fur, she’s so soft! They loved their spa treatment and pawdicures. We’ll definitely be back!

I have 2 5lb yorkies and a 17lb corgi mix and they HAVE NEVER gotten the description wrong, so it shows that they care and love my furbabies as well. The place is always clean and nice and I love the little bows and bandanas. There prices are super reasonable compared to other places and they are always honest about their work I know my corgi mix can be a bit aggressive and I don't get offended because I'd rather have them tell me instead of stressing her out so I really appreciate that! They're the best groomers i've had in a while!

Douglas Smith: The groomer I took Prince Steve to before after discussing I wanted the Bichon style cut he had round head and all they just shaved him down. He wasn't matted there was no reason to shave him. Wags did a great job trying to get him back to what he was supposed be. By next time I go back he should be grown out enough to do right but they did a great job and he will go back again. Very nice people thank you

Emilie Morse: What can I say about this business other than they do an extremely amazing job! They take great care of my dog, groom him very well and quickly. They always take the time to cut out his mats, cut his nails and trim his hair. They wash him add an adorable bandanna every time! I took him to another place and Huntington Beach and they did an awful job in comparison. Not to mention their great prices. I could not be more appreciative to have such a great grooming place in my local community. There’s also a cute dog park just up the street so the location is great!

The staff are awesome and friendly, from scheduling on the phone to the dropping off/picking up process, everything was great!Erika took care of Kayla and she did an amazing job. No joke, probably the best Kayla has looked in years! I was so happy when I went to get her. Kayla was too, which tells me they treated her well! Definitely recommend!
Andres Martinez: This place is awesome. I always come here after a day at the beach to get my large German Shepard clean she is 80lbs. This place saves me from having to deal with all that fur clogging the drain at home. Cheaper then a plumber.

Great price for the service. Their groomers loved the boys. Their location is to die for and their hours are exactly what what any normal working peeps. Would require.

Quinn Fegel: I would LOVE to give this place a 5 star. They gave us shampoo and conditioner for both dogs, a blueberry face wash, and an ear cleaner. They also had a cute little shop at the front that I bought some jerky treats for my good girls who took their bath. I was just passing through. Everything was perfect except for the fact that I had a deep feeling that I was not welcome there. The older woman in the front was very short and curt with me. She just seemed annoyed with me the entire time and I think I was being friendly! I'm not sure, this place was perfect besides that too. Easy parking as well.
DAVID SCHANHALS: The best self dog wash we have found in LA. The size of the wash rooms is great. Big and individual rooms with your own dryers. The staff was super helpful and nice. The energy of the place is great, with music and lit really well. Maybe our only dog wash from now on.

Brianna Moyer: Love this place. They have cubicles you rent by the hour with basin tubs and dryers. They offer different types of shampoo conditioner and face wash for your pets needs. Ear wash, drying wrags and other grooming tools for your use. Call ahead to make an appointment but they almost always have a spot open.
Hugo Aguas: Customer Service: The groomers were kind, but the dude at the front desk lacked the warmth I would expect from such a lovely place.Price: While I would say that the prices are competitive, I did find 130 for two dogs to be pretty steep. They charge an extra $10 for a face hair trimming, in which they only clipped excess hair off the top of his ears and missed two patches of dead hair.

Wendy: My little one loves to run around with her friends at Pet Set and watching her on their doggie cams is one of my favorite things to do. Having outside space was crucial for me so Pet Set was an obvious choice and I hope, one day, she will venture in the wee pool they have out on hot days!

Anna Pedraza: My review of The Pet Set is long overdue - they are the best! I use their boarding services often while I am away on business. I feel completely at ease during my travels, knowing that my fur babies are in a safe and enjoyable place! One of my girls needs daily eye drops and the Pet Set staff handles this with ease. All four, get to slumber in the same spacious room together. When I return, they are happy, relaxed, and bathed! I should also mention that my pups are happy when I drop them at The Pet Set. They don't even look back while I'm saying my goodbyes! I can't ask for more!I also use the grooming services and have never been disappointed. The cuts I request are the cuts that are delivered. 😀Again, I can't recommend The Pet Set highly enough. The owner and staff are top-notch.
Nisa Gonzalez: My pup loves it here! He has been going about 3 days a week for over a year, has boarded multiple times and has been groomed as well. All 3 services have been above 5 stars. The staff treat my pup like family and are all great humans. Shout out to the 7am crew that open up bright an early so I can make it to work on time!
O Lo: The PetSet is great! Our little fur baby loves it there. Everything from Daycamp, overnight boarding, to grooming is on point. Dogs build friendships here.
Sarah Biggs: Petset was such an AMAZING experience for our new addition to our family! We had boarding and training with them for a period of 6 weeks. Lots of care, social play, and love given to our pup the entire time he was there! #kristithetrainer is beyond the best trainer out there! She went above and beyond to train our pup, sending videos and tips throughout. At the end of the training period she came to our home to get us set up and settled with Pup. She has so much insight into the psychology of dogs and builds her training behind that to ensure pups not only want to be good for their humans, but feel safe and happy all along!
