Our building has been around since the 1920’s and was converted to a storage application in 1987. What makes our building so unique is that you can drive to every floor! As long as the vehicle fits (8ft 8 inches) through our entrance, our customers can drive to and park on each floor. It is there that you will find several moving carts to load your belongs and take them to your storage space. On the first floor, we have two loading zones available as well.

Customers can take advantage of Store N Save’s own moving truck and we have a new customer truck special that our friendly team can tell you all about. You’ll never have to deal with elevators when you rent a unit from us, as you can drive to every floor! We are the only storage facility around with this important time saving feature!

All customers must sign in and out. We have only one entrance area to our building and we monitor the comings and goings through security cameras and regular security walks of the facility.

The vast majority of our customers set up auto-pay! It's so easy and all of them avoid unnecessary late fees! Paying online is also super easy!

All of the big box storage places utilize call centers. They make it very difficult to talk to anyone on site. At Store N Save, you will always deal with one of our helpful, friendly and experienced team members!

We have our own moving truck that we keep ready for just our customers. While you are welcome to rent a truck from someone else, our truck is usually the right call for most of our customers and it is cheaper or for NEW customers, the truck is FREE (minus insurance and gas used- ask for details) . The clearance in our indoor building is limited to 9′ 4″ to reach the second floor, and 8’ 4” to reach the 3rd floor. Please call first before renting, so we can assure you a smooth moving experience, as U-Haul and other trucks may have issues fitting into the building. Our truck is specially designed to fit inside our building, so you will be able to drive to the floor your storage unit is located on.

After choosing the right storage space that fits your needs, it is essential that you pack your belongings in the storage unit correctly. Here are some tips to consider for preventing damage to your belongings

Determine whether the goods you are storing will be better protected by placing them in boxes, totes or other containers. You may need to purchase specialized boxes and other packing supplies to protect your items during the move and while they are stowed away.

Thoroughly clean, disinfect and dry refrigerators, freezers, stoves and other appliances. Appliances with doors can be stored with the door slightly open, and some can be stacked on top of each other.

Be sure to clean and dry all electrical equipment before storing in your unit. Remove any batteries from their compartments.

Retard rust by wiping down all types of metal surfaces before storing. Use a few drops of machine oil to lightly coat these items for preventing rust and possible deterioration in the storage unit.

4worldlovers: The staff were all great. The problem I had was that I was able to reserve a 10x15 unit online but when I showed up with my truck full of stuff, I was told none were available. I was offered a 10x10 but not all my stuff would fit unfortunately. It was a bit disappointing that I could reserve something that wasn’t actually available. Otherwise the people were all great.

I had provided at least a six weeks notice that we were going to be leaving a storage unit... I was charged for a full month which we paid on Autopay on March 1st ..left storage this Thursday and asked the cashier if we were going to be prorated 1/2 month...he acted like he's never had this question before and said it is what it is...why would I provide Uhual with a letter of intent to vacate then still get charged for a full month? Ridiculous

I was spammed every 45 minutes for this review that nobody is going to read. It's the most unprofessional automated system I've ever seen.

You should have more little cars to help move furniture around.

Staffs are nice and they know what to do for customer service. Very quick for check in and out with accuracy in administration and skilled help in equipment returns. 100% recommendable.

I had excellent service with U-Haul Moving and Storage of North Long Beach. I was very disappointed by the treatment I received from U-Haul generally in regard to renting a 20' van. I had to Drive more than 30 miles to retrieve that van, although I reserved it AT LONG BEACH a month in advance. Then I had to retrieve the car carrier trailer at another location 10 more miles away.

The contact-free system and the unit itself were fine. My main suggestion would be to improve the video on how to get into the unit. It skips right over explaining how you actually open the sliding door; in the video it just magically opens. I had to go back into the office and wait in line to find out I have to step on the foot pedal at the same time as I pull the latch in order to release it. Otherwise, the move in was pretty smooth.

I use you all for many years but this time I would never use you guys again because of the staff that's over on Cherry and South Street a very rude and not understanding I am disabled senior citizen I drove over 900 miles and I was not happy at all with your customers what's your employees know

No one seemed to know answers about leaving big items for trash pick up. Quoted one price charged a higher price, got a different answer from 3 different people. Manager seemed to just tell staff answers and not want to talk on phone. Other than that clean storage and no issues with the unit. It might be helpful to have donation places on file for when people decide to move out of their storage... Habitat for humanity is one that will pick up at a storage place.

I received excellent customer service the entire time I had my storage. Kudos!!!
