This is now my personal favorite spot to go for coffee, tea and a light lunch in downtown Long Beach! The food and drinks were perfection with very fresh and flavorful ingredients. A wonderful pickled jalapeño and carrot side was served with the sandwich. Just check out my photos. There is so much vintage stuff to see at Birdcage!! Light jazz playing inside, peaceful vibe, gorgeous/healthy plants, and the owner is really sweet and cool I had the turkey sandwich and iced latte this time and look forward to going back to try more menu items. My friend enjoyed a wonderful iced tea and there was plenty sandwich for the two of us!
Had such a nice breakfast here today with my boyfriend! We tried the top pick coffee, onion bagel, Parmesan bagel and blueberry muffin. All very delicious and nicely displayed! Very nice owner, friendly and helpful. Good music, interesting and fun decor. An all around good experience. Would highly recommend!

Chelsea Chamroeun: it's a decent little place. nothing special imo, but a cute spot to study at or meet up with a friend. there's a few tables outside, although it's a fairly compact and narrow area. the matcha was ok, i wouldn't order it again but not terrible either. it's north-facing, so it doesn't really get much light, which is a negative for me but could be a positive to you if you prefer shade.

Matty K1: paid $4.85. Yes, $4.85 for a 12 oz drip! I dropped into ADR to compare this, what I consider, outrageous price. Sure enough, same size, drip Italian roast for $2.60 - the 16 oz is $2.85. Wow. Foolish me. $4.85?! Never again. Lesson learned. From now on, ADR will be my go-to stop for their great coffee - and delicious pastry selection. Thank you Tim for keeping it real.

Sean Garcia: I've been on a mission to try as many different Mexican mochas as I can from various places. I decided to head out to Viento y Agua and visit this little coffee shop. It has a really nice coffeehouse vibe. Couches, loveseats, tables and chairs throughout the shop. I tried their version of the Mexican mocha and it wasn't overwhelming with flavor just the right mix. I got it with oat milk and prefer the flavor it gives the drink. I'll have to give their food a go next time.
Nidhin Varghese: I tried their Mexican Mocha which is their most popular drink along with a bagel sandwich. The coffee was decent but not spectacular. They have a variety of performances going on 2nd saturday of each month along with vendors in the front. The decor here is super cute. The barista was friendly and gave me a sample of their cold brew to try. Service can be a bit slow at times so be patient.

The local's only bagel sandwich has eggs, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. It's a nice creamy and warm combo. There was only one thing wrong, which was how the sandwhich fillings were falling out, but that's not their fault.The staff were very nice and patient with me since I had never been there before. I was asking about the types of bagel options and what can be done with them.
Rox: I enjoy the coffee and bagels here! They have a classic selection of beverages to choose from, with a little extra such as the Horchata Latte. The staff are friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor. The vibes are local and the people who come here tend to be pilates attendees and senior citizens.My only gripe is that every time I'm inside there is a consistent and bothersome smell of burnt bagel. I am sure that's fixable if they clean the toaster more often, or maybe even replace it.Parking: Big parking lot, I've never seen it full.

Freshest foods & baked goods. The preparation of ingredients is OMG delicious. And satisfying for hours bc it's nutritious & made w/heart & soul. Also had the rox lox sandwich, which was also made well, a lot of lox and a lot of capers! They offer free wifi, but the seating inside could probably be improved somewhat. Would come back!

Kylie Lewis: Traveling through and thought this was a decent place to get food. The name is creative and caught my attention. I had a siracha breakfast sandwich with jalopeno bread and added avacado and bacon. It was yummy. I wish they had a build your own sandwich option, would have been easier than adding and shbtracting ingredients. The menus on the counter look old and dirty with worn out prices and words. I ordered a matcha latte and the server asked me what milk I would prefer I did appreciate that. Really cool they have kumbucha! I also had a peanut butter cookie that was so good, wished I got another one! Overall a decent place. I would go again.
