Junk Mail: Overall a good experience with Sportsman Steel. Originally found them just from Google and the owner, Kevin, reached out to me about it after my initial call. I was in contact with Sam, one of their sales reps, and he helped clear some things up, getting set up with what hooks I would need for specific firearms on the safe door. They did a good job of sending updates and what I would likely expect as it's sometimes difficult to buy an expensive safe without seeing it in person. The shipping company was fantastic as well, delivering it into my garage for easy installation, with a great install referral for a guy in my city named Ronnie. Theres certainly something to say about the build quality too - seemed to be very tight tolerances and heavy construction. Nit picky stuff is that the auto lights inside don't always come on without me putting my foot over it and wish they stayed on for longer than a minute or so, and the digital code pad is a little loose. I would still rate it 5 stars due to them going out of their way to get the job done and will likely buy another one from them when need be.
raul medellin: Bought my safe 7 years ago. Door didn’t open on a Sunday evening and I HAD to get into it. Unfortunately had to breach it. Called in to Sam on Monday to explain. They took in the safe, welded it back together, repaired the door, repainted the safe and had it back to me in 7 days. Sam was responsive and kept me in the loop on the progress with calls and photos. Very happy with the customer service.
Kyle Marshall: I purchased my Sportsman Steel safe in 1999. It has served me very well in the last 24 years. Yesterday I could not get the door to open. I have a spinning combo lock.I called Sportsman Steel and my call was answered on the second ring. Kevin walked me through the fix and he stayed on the phone with me while we worked through the problem.After two and a half decades of hard use my combo had drifted one number.I have a new combo now and the lock and safe work like the day it arrived at my house in 1999!That is what I call great customer service after the sale!!Thanks againKyle MMonroe, NC

R Tractor: Our unit was ordered as a tornado shelter. The quality is beyond expectations. Everything works as it should and I would highly recommend anyone to buy these. When I ordered the unit the salesman walked me through his recommendations and was patient with my questions. Everyone who has seen it loves it. Buy one.

John Pawlik: The door I had built for my gun vault is nothing short of MASSIVE. It is exactly what I hoped it would be. Anyone that thinks they can breach this massive piece of steel would qualify as stupid! On top of it all, this vault door is tastefully designed and beautifully painted to a color that matches my faux limestone blocks. I would recommend Sportsman Steel Safe doors to anyone who is looking for a steel door to prevent break-in. The people at SSS Co. are great to work with and will keep you apprised of the door construction from start to finish and shipping date. I would definitely do business with SS Co again in the future.

steve frey: I asked them that very question and they said no. Another issue was the dimensions were correct, but my opening was in the slight shape of a parallelogram, so it was tight. They do not mention this anywhere. Lastly, I asked them to crate it, but it was shipped flat on a pallet, and it slid off, scratching it.
Jessie Smith: I purchased a vault door many years ago. Its still functioning the same as it was from day one. High quality, high protection just an all around nice door. I purchased a custom size tank head and upgraded to 1" ar500 front plate. I wish i would have purchased every upgrade possible. The only reason i gave four stars is because the shipping company they used lost my door temporarily and i had to drive and pick it up. It was not delivered to my home no money was reimbursed but i was just glad to have found it.
