JP Goods Fresh Bakery and Fresh Boba: what do users think?

Carl Joshua: The iced coffee was yummy!

alma renrick: Egg sandwich delicious

Bert Ankrom: Best Banh Minh sandwich ever!!

Josephina Romero: Decided to try this place since i usually get Bahn Mis next door at boba tea house, they have since raised the prices and put very little meat in their baguettes so i tried JP Goods and was so glad i came !! The bahn mis are tastier, larger, more flavorful inside toppings, more meat, AND more affordable. on a second trip i decided to try their hand foods, i filled two small bags with an assortment of different delicacies, both savory and sweet types i got 8 different kinds! And my total was $11.50!! And it was all so tasty and flavorful! So glad this place is open. And the two people who attended me were so sweet and attentive, i believe they are the owners.FYI They accept all major credit cards, debit and cash.

Pedro C: Decent food for the price. The sandwich and tea were good quality, while the fries and eggrolls I had were pretty mediocre. In fact the eggrolls we're almost too oily for me.The worst thing about this place though is the parking. Park on the street or expect to wait 10+ mins to find a spot. Its really bad.

Bluerose M&M: Everything is so good here, egg rolls the drinks. Spring rolls should of come with peanut sauce because I like peanut sauce with my Vietnamese Spring rolls.

Chikara Mochi: what do users think?

Darcilla Yang: Absolutely delicious! As mentioned, bring cash! I highly recommend coming here for your mochi cravings as not only are you eating with your eyes, but the texture of the mochi is amazingly soft! The majority are filled with smooth red bean, but if you’re looking for a bit of extra flavor then I highly recommend the orange peel and peach which are filled with white. I ended up loving this place so much I needed to make another stop prior to my flight to get some for my family back home! Trust me, you will definitely want to make this place as a destination!

izzy apuya perez: i love this very traditional and 本物の 日本せい real japanese wagashi shop. In america it is nearly impossible to get your hands on “しろあん” shiroan which is the white bean paste that makes traditional japanese wagashi for tea ceremonies. I hunted every online shop and in person asian market and could only find any real desserts containing shiroan at Chikara. It is a bit sad that the foot traffic does not exist there, yet the quality of the desserts are amazing. If you can find time to try this place out, i promise it’ll be worth it. Also it’s cash only LMAO, i would’ve bought much more if i had more cash on me.

Chester Murray: Great place. Nice people

Sierra Lobo: This place has some gorgeous mochi, and it tastes as good as it looks! It’s a bit pricey, but honestly, the quality of the mochi makes it worth it. Traditional mochi places are also pretty sparse, making these types of mochis quite rare.Overall, worth a visit for a yummy and cute treat!

Caleb Harris: Best mochi in the city.

Jenn Creary: Little works of tasty art

Kelsey: Chikara Mochi is some of the best mochi I've had! Parking was easy, there's street parking out front. I went shortly after they opened and there was a huge selection to choose from. The red bean and white bean were both delicious, but I've got a soft spot for white bean. The peach and plum were especially good. They only accept cash, so be sure to bring some. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

Bk Hataishi: Tasty decorative mochi

Joseph Raczynski: Get here early. At 12 noon, most items were out.

Ben L: Flavors were awesome. Wish I were allowed to try more flavors though.

Steven Lee: Wonderful handmade mochi. Very cute shop with a lot of really fun varieties made fresh daily. They make for great gifts as well. Note: cash only

Wayne Chan: Fragrant mochi. Beautifully crafted. Super nice staff. Sells out fast so go early.

Ally Lee: Love this place. It was busy today, but the line moved quickly.

Karen A: I was so heartbroken when Mikawaya closed in Gardena. There was no place to purchase fresh mochigashi. A friend at work brought me a mochi from Chikara Mochi and I was in heaven. I went today and purchased all the mochi I wanted. Each piece is so delicately decorated. My son and I have devoured 3 pieces so far and all were exceptionally soft, smooth, and so flavorful. And, as an added bonus, I get to support a minority owned woman in her business endeavor. Ganbatte!

Nonna Mercato: what do users think?

Link Lo: Great pastry and brunch addition in long beach. Sat down for brunch on a Saturday and there was no wait. Order their dirty nutty, which has espresso, chai, and peanut milk, and it tasted like just what the ingredients sounded, which is great. Also got the brioche toast with pistachio and ricotta cheese topping. The topping is generous, and the brioche speaks to how good the attached bakery must be. Also had their version of croque monsieur with a croissant, bechamel sauce, ham, and fried egg. The croissant is truly a stand out, even with the sauce, the 🥐 remains very flaky. Will definitely go back to try something out if the patisserie.

Oo Zz: Obviously pricey. But, very nice.

Angela R: This might be my favorite happy place in Long Beach. We love taking their baguettes home but also enjoy their everything croissant and passion fruit pastry especially. Service is so friendly and the ambiance is quaint and lovely. Their patio is a great spot to enjoy their amazing coffee drinks and pastries.

Cai Quiambao: Coffee is superb. Pastries are divine. They make it onsite. My new fave spot.

Edith D: Delicious latte and pastries. Wonderful bread. Lovely employees. Go there!

Charlie Candelas: Quality breads and pastries

Dustin D: I love the assortment of sweet and savory pastries! The fresh loaves of bread have almost become an addiction.

Thor Carlson: Incredible pastries!

Sam Trombley: Very delightful place for an amazing pastry and a great mocha! Service is top notch. They have a very nice patio area to sit and enjoy your goodies. I always pick up a loaf of their classic sour dough bread, which is also as wonderful as everything else! Highly recommend stopping by!

Brianna B: Always tasty pastries, and great bread that lasts a week at home. Most drinks are quite good: Spanish latte and peanut little are my favourite. Decent cappuccinos and cold brew. Spanish Milk tea is undrinkably sweet, but I'd recommend every other drink. Coffee is on the bitter side, which I enjoy. On the expensive side but high quality.

Isabella Cabrera: Banana bread is out of this world.
