Patrick G.: This mortuary has done a great job setting up the funeral service, the people there were very understanding and professional. The pricing was better compared to others, especially looking back at how much more expensive it could have been. Overall, I am very satisfied that I chose this mortuary and would recommend it to anyone feeling anxious and overwhelmed.

My family has been supported by the McKenzie team for three of our family members Celebration of Life memorials. From a simple cremation to a full Military service the McKenzie team took care of everything perfectly from day one. I could not have made it through the hard process without the love and compassion of our McKenzie team. I say team because everyone at McKenzie is a blessing and very professional in a sincerely loving way. The team truly cares about your family, reaching out even after the craziness has calmed down to make sure everyone is doing well and to offer resources for support. Sharrion Johnson: Hi it’s hard for me to write this review . But Mc Kenzies Mortuary really helped me through some difficult times . I had my husband sent to Forest Lawn after he passed . We had always done business with them . When I went to the meeting they informed me that they do cremations but with a package deal. I wanted to bring my. Husband home . The gentleman was kind and said I’d be better off sending him to another mortuary that did more cremations . I was very upset even through they did not charge me for having him there a few days .I had to transport him again . I guess just cremation would have been very costly there if not in a package . It’s a long story . I called Mc Kenzies told them the issues . They transported my husband to their mortuary . Also the doctor did not sign the death certificate during the time needed . It was a big mess . McKenzie’s did everything they could to help me in both situations . They continually called and faxed the doctor to sign the death certificate . Took weeks . It was a mess . Finally we ask a different doctor to sing. So we could get it recorded and it worked . Because their faculties are in Long Beach and Long Beach has it’s own Health Department I received the Death Certificate within a few days . McKenzies picked the death certificate . I thought I would have had to wait another four to six weeks . I had lost the Love of my Life . I was devastated. The hard work and diligence it took to get this mess straightened out was hard . McKenzies walked me through everything but they did the work . I was very pleased. Their prices are reasonable also . I highly recommend McKenzies Mortuary .

Ken McKenzie and his staff have helped me with final disposition and funerals for more friends, family and loved ones than I can count. However they 18 location just Southern California and so many across the country. It give you peace of mind knowing that they are everywhere. I want to thank Boo and there entire staff.

They were so compassionate and helpful that we had peace knowing they’re taking care of the arrangements. They are quick to respond to any communications or requests. Good choice of caskets and funeral accessories. Coordination of cemetery and church services handled efficiently. The chapel was certainly adequate for our needs and the use of the kitchen was excellent for families that have small children. The ability to watch the custom video in both areas was great. A good experience for such a difficult time.
