hector castro: This space is really lovely, benches,rocks and logs are all clean. The sand makes it very easy to clean up any mess, but people just leave it for some reason....the size of the area is good but the compromise is the no small or big dog separator.
Ceara Lee Taylor: It’s a small park, but enough room for a few dogs to run around. It’s only sand and a couple rocks, no grass patches. My only complaint about it is the fact that people don’t seem to know how to clean up after their dogs...bags are even provided so I don’t understand what’s so hard about picking up afterwards...there was so much poop there that you had to constantly be careful where you stepped. The photo I took doesn’t even show the large piles behind me and beside me.
Derek Allen: It's a very small dog park there is no grass just sand. But it's there and it serves its purpose well.

There is a section for bigger dogs and another for smaller dogs. Of course the size of dogs are separated by size and all in all its a great tiny little spot to run your dog

4worldlovers: Long Beach is fortunate to have several facilities for Long Beach residents to exercise their dogs off leash. Most facilities feature spaces for both large and small dogs, benches for owners, free doggie waste bags and water fountains. Double entrance and exit gates provide a secure environment for dogs. Parks, Recreation and Marine Dog Parks are non-supervised facilities. Patrons should use recreational dog facilities at their own risk. The City of Long Beach accepts no responsibility for the behavior of dogs or dog owners. Please refer to the Dog Park / Dog Zone Rules.
Dog Park/Zone users must comply with posted rules for the safety of everyone and every dog.
The dog must be under visual and voice control at all times.
Pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in provided containers.
Puppies younger than 4 months are not permitted for their and other dogs' protection.
Owners must have a leash. Dogs shall be on leashes whenever outside Dog Park/Zones.
Dog owners are legally responsible for injuries caused by their dog.
Professional dog trainers/handlers are not permitted to use the facility for instruction.

Diana Trujillo: Great dog park! My dog loves it so much because of the plants and open space. It also has trails and greenery for them to explore. Only downside is there is no separate small and big parks and last time I was there a big dog got in a fight with a small dog and the small dog was hurt really bad. He had to be taken to the vet.
Jillian Pratt: This park is great because of all the plants for dogs to run through and relieve themselves on. There is a handful of parking spaces available, couple handicap as well. It is very handicap accessible. Lots of little tables and chairs set up. Yes it's a picnic area. But picnics are not ok at dog parks, so that is weird. Quite location if you want to work on your laptop though. This park is rarely busy, but I have seen it pick up it popularity the past few months. It is just one dog park, big and small. So if you have a dog that is scared or aggressive, this is not your park to go to. People being water bowls because the one drinking fountain is near the entrance, it has a dog fountain at the bottom, but people tend to sit and dogs play in the sun by the open grassy area. Good dog park overall. Very clean and well tended.No restrooms on site. No playground.
Cindy Hall: Such a great little dog park. We live in the neighborhood so we usually walk. There is parking for about 10 cars. Nice water fountains and bowels for the dogs. Several seating areas placed throughout the area. Tables for eating if you desire. Have NEVER encountered any naughty dogs or owners. We love it here!Dog-friendliness: It's a small dog park.
