Bike Path & Walkway Trailhead at Drake/Chavez Park: what do users think?

kev pai: The Bike Path & Walkway Trailhead at Drake/Chavez Park is a good starting point to the Drake/Chavez Greenbelt. The entrance is located directly at the corner of Anaheim Street and Daisy Avenue in the City of Long Beach, California. As you walk/bike the concrete pathway, you'll find an artificial turf soccer field, an informal natural turf field, landscaped open space/passive park areas, a pedestrian walking trail and onsite parking spaces next to the Adventures to Dreams Enrichment community garden. You'll also notice multiple tables and spacious grass areas to have a picnic and enjoy nature. The trail was once inhabited by many homeless encampments but the area has since been cleaned up and maintained by city staff and local contractors. See if you can spy a few interesting items along the trail such as a fake giant redwood tree, a large metal sign from Jesse James’ West Coast Choppers and a few colorful murals.Along the trail you'll find the new stairway and ADA ramp which will take you to the Drake Park tennis courts and the famous Historic Bembridge House. You can also choose to stay on the trail and travel on DeForest Avenue all the way to the Willmore Heritage Garden and the Historic Jergins Trust Pillars. Both points of interest is located near the end of Maine Avenue and 7th Street along the entrance of the 710 freeway.More development is beginning to take shape near the Shoemaker Bridge adjacent to the LA River. The City of Long Beach and the department of Parks, Recreation and Marine has plans to develop the 5.81 acre into a park and wetland. The plan is to connect Cesar Chavez Park in Downtown Long Beach and Drake Park in the Willmore City Historic District. This is great news for kids and families in the community.

Houghton Skatepark: what do users think?

Britain Robinson: Hometown park hate it or love it

James Bates: This place is church.

Jesus Aguilera: Good atmosphere place to roast your roast meat with friends and family

polacko willmor: 👍

Adam Carthon: Great neighborhood park. Lots of History here and a great addition to the city of long beach. Shot a music video here and the local skateboarding crew & bmx crew shredded it up!

Jon Nakamura: Love it. Great transition.

Aquanette Thompson: Space to be free and wild... Very clean and safe

Justine Molinari: Skate park was pretty rad and gnarly, just needs more frequent upkeep as there was a lot of trash all over and some broken glass too, so kinda unsafe for a place that you might take a fall at, especially with kids. The kids' park was mostly clean and also safe. A good park, big and green, community center, you can just tell that it's one of the places around where funding has been lacking presumably.

El Dorado Skatepark: what do users think?

Tee Cee: Poorly constructed but fun park . Ramos are lumpy but it doesn’t stop the locals from shredding

Jon Nakamura: Bring your helmet and pick up your trash!

Ulysses Bejarano: perfect for beginners and experienced riders...

Paul Glenn Clabough: Wasn’t too crowded.

Quinton Morrison: and the drains were fixed. Once again after a storm, and there was not a pond. Nice 👍

Jp Ap: This is one of my favorite parks in my area, nice lighting until 10 pm , some days are empty and is better like that because some locals are rude because they think they’re pro because they do the same tricks they watch on IG 😂😂

Manny Alonzo: Great place for kids

Hungry Henry: Great skatepark , nothing too special. Been coming here since 2004But the park should keep up with the maintenance, it need a lot of repairs

Bixby Skatepark Long Beach: what do users think?

Isaac Sakrekov: I love this place. Skaters and saggers and hot guys, oh my! You just cant have one.

Virginia Carnes: Free dj, many many people. So if you want to get covid come to this park! Nice skate park.

Adadin Feliciano: Best park ever

Ernesto Ramirez: I go here to skateboard and I bring my hinge or tinders dates here to pregame before hitting the bars.

Phil3636: Very simple minimalistic skatepark. Just a few rails and ledges, which of course is all the majority of skaters need. Zero transition here.A hot spot for local professional skaters. The skill level of everyone here is very high. Don't bring your kids on scooters, this ain't that type of park.5 minutes from the beach is a bonus.

osker quevedo: Best skate park in the world

Melody Brand: nice

Leshawn Johnson: All over the place

Cristian Barragan: Good place

Diego Perugini: Cherry Skatepark Long Beach I recommend it to those passing through the area, a really nice skatepark, frequented by very strong and super friendly locals, from time to time it is possible to meet pro-skaters who come to train. If you pass this way, take a ride!

Joey Kulkin: Cool place to chill to watch and listen to the action.

Adrian Avila: SKATEBOARDING .... Don't forget the farmers market.

Robert Gumbimer Skatepark: what do users think?

B3RKY: Cool park super small. The benches are perfect so is thew bank the clam shell quarter pipe is dope also. really tight park tho. also watch out for the bums

Nick Bond: Cool little park, empty usually and obstacles are sized well. Don’t go alone after dark tho.

Christopher Holloway: Suttle but still manageable

Simon Cuevas: I love Cucumbers

Wayne Briggs: Fresh!

Irene Ruiz: A place toShow off your tricks

Leo Vega: Good place to skate with nice park environment. Good for skaters to practice street skateboarding and quarter pipe skating.

Lincoln Park Skatepark: what do users think?

Jon Nakamura: needs open bathrooms

Tee Cee: Great park has lights and is fun but it's very small. Come at night or early in the am it's less packed

Are Ee: Fun little park.Very well made. It basically has two quarter pipes on each end, with some obstacles in between. Ledges, rails, the Spohn Ranch signature cement ball. The quarter pipes are mellow, well made. Maybe 3 feet high? Three and a half? This is a good spot to learn to drop in at.This is such a park it can get crowded quickly. If there are like 4 people or more there, it starts to feel crowded.Seriously it is smaller than a basketball court. The other bummer is the parking situation.Seems like no free parking nearby, and even finding metered parking nearby can be a pain.Definitely worth checking out if You are in the area.Have Fun!

Nick Bond: Nothing big at all good for new skaters or fun sesh not big but wasn’t busy either I went early I like it

Phil3636: Quality over quantity with this one. The park is on the smaller side but it has plenty to skate without feeling cramped.Everything is really mellow. A low impact skatepark- perfect for beginners, older guys or just warming up.Quite refreshing to find a park without 10 stair hubbas and 10 foot bowls. Not everyone is a pro skater in LA!#1000skateparkchallenge#cementurians

Ben prall: Pretty awesome pre fab park

Patricia Williams: Great place to walk and read.

Elizabeth Hernandez: Amazing parkRestrooms: Only 1 is opened on 1 of the sides.

Christian Bernabe: Good Soccer field

Arcángel MAAZE: Great park, the parking lot has some sketchy people , but overall, great park. The pitch is always locked but it makes sense because the ex-con , bums would trash it and make it dirty, nasty. It's kept pretty decent and a variety of fitness equipment.

Rick Lovetere: There isn't free wifi thats easy. It's so you can't get it like other parksBecaus e of that we go to Sheree park instead.

Susana Perez: Very good for children to play and there are exercise machines, only it is super crowded.Playground: There are many games for children

Sammar Sanchez: Really nice playground but homeless might have used it to sleep. There was dirty clothes left there. And a guy that looked like a Mad Max character sleeping on a bench :(

Rayann Mcgriff: My grandbabies love it so many obstacles lots of released energy
