Jeannine Meyer: Sea scouts is a camp and staff are excellent. My son has gone this summer and last summer and looks forward to all the water fun they have: kayaking, jumping off the Lilly pad, going on the duck boat, playing in the sand, going fishing, doing the scout activities and arts and crafts. The staff are positive and engaging and we’re always making sure my son was safe and well covered with sunblock. After the groom of the pandemic, this was a bright spot for my son, he would come home happy and with his energy expended- the best kind of day!

The Silverado Pool Swimming Pool is a year-round, indoor 25-meter pool with water temperature maintained at a comfortable 82 degrees. Children must be at least 42" tall or accompanied by an adult in the water. Swimsuits are required. Infants must wear "swim diapers". The schedule may be subject to change.
All Ages Recreation Swim for ages 17yrs and under compliments of Long Beach Unified School District, June 20-August 26.
Seniors 50+ are free with a Senior Fitness Pass. Walk-in fee is $3 per class for adults. Benefit from these fun, fast paced, low impact classes designed to shape you up with little or no stress on your knees or back.
Sessions are 8 classes, conducted during a four-week session (Mondays and Wednesdays) or an eight-week session (Saturday's only). Registration for the classes will be taken at Silverado Park Pool or online at LBPARKS.ORG. Cash or checks made out to the "City of Long Beach" are accepted. Refunds for classes will only be granted prior to the first-class meeting, with a $10 service charge assessed. If you are unsure of the level for which to sign-up, call or stop by the pool to arrange for a swim test.
Youth classes are 25 minutes in length; adult classes are 50 minutes in length. Jon Nakamura: wow, this part has been here for so long along with his pool. It's so amazing to see it still being up cat and the community still being able to come here and swim in his pool. Take the kids out for lessons are outside hang out at the park nearby. Make sure you bring your skateboard your Hellman always pick up your trash. Stay safe LongBeach.

Vashon Blanco: Great pool, perfect size, clean and very accessible, one of the better pools for our students to compete in. Just a few issues with the info point score board, but all else great. Thanks for hosting meet. MUCH LOVE FROM "WILSON!!!!"

weeewooo: went here for water polo practices during the pandemic. Its a great pool, good heating. the gutters are a little hard to climb out of though and the only usable outlets are in the bathrooms
