4worldlovers: At the beginning of this journey, we set out to build a "club" in every sense of the word. An association of Sacramento-area people sharing a common interest in health, fitness, climbing, and the outdoors. As an indoor fitness facility, we seek to provide our members with an ideal environment for getting in shape, training for improvement, and finding your community. Many climbers find this to be a natural segue to climbing outdoors and taking advantage of the vast array of climbing spots the local area has to offer.

These 4-day camps are led by our enthusiastic staff and filled with climbing instruction, games, and activities. We love climbing and focus on teaching its most important aspects:

The Boulder Field’s Youth Semester Program is a powerful tool for enhancing critical skills in kids: strength and balance, confidence, problem-solving skills, community, and continuous improvement! Bouldering pairs the individuality of climbing with the community-driven aspect of working together to solve challenges. Kids also get a free membership for the duration of the semester!

4worldlovers: Since 1996 Granite Arch has been serving the climbing community in the Sacramento region with some of the most realistic, indoor climbing walls imaginable. Right down to the “pin scars” in our cracks, you’ll love the look, feel and incredible variety of our walls at Granite Arch. With well over 20,000 square feet of wall surface, including an outdoor boulder park, there is something for everyone to test their ability.

Whether you’re a seasoned climber looking to keep your edge between outdoor excursions, or you’ve never climbed before, you will be welcomed by our friendly and experienced staff. With lots of opportunities for kids to participate, Granite Arch is a great place to introduce young “crushers” to the sport of climbing. Or better yet, why not bring the whole family in for a great experience together!

No longer a fringe activity, the sport of climbing was featured in the Olympics for the first time in 2021. Granite Arch is home to Team Granite Arch, our competitive youth team, which competes in USA Climbing sanctioned events up and down the state and across the country.
