The Music Factory’s drum students – as with all our students – love to play music. Our drum lessons are for all levels and abilites, age 8 and up, from beginner through advanced levels. Learning theory is also guaranteed by the use of The Music Factory's proven drum method book and testing program. All of our drum teachers in Costa Mesa have real life performance experience and create tailored drumming lessons designed to improve any student's drumming skills. We are always aiming to have happy learners. The student decides which drum part they wish to master first.From rock to metal, jazz to funk, blues, or any number of different styles, we are dedicated to helping our students learn the rhythmic language of drumming.

Hi, my name is Ryan Van Tuyl, and since 2004 I’ve helped thousands of kids learn piano, singing, guitar, bass, drums, and songwriting in schools all over the world. The programs I’ve created teach kids how to achieve their musical dreams and become better, hardworking individuals through learning to play and perform rock, pop, hip-hop, blues, metal, and jazz music. Graduates of my programs have attended prestigious music colleges and universities. However, these programs have only been able to exist in middle-to-upper-class communities, where parents can afford to fund music education for their children directly.
