My son Tyson has gone to Building Kidz since he was 10 months old and is now a bit over 4 years old. I really liked our teachers over the years, who have both looked after him and genuinely care about his growth and development. I felt comfortable leaving him at Building Kidz while I worked full time. One of my favorite things that they've implemented is the use of an app that allows me to see hourly pictures and videos of my son while I'm at work. It's very reassuring to see what activities my son is doing, what meals and snacks he's gotten, and how his naptime has been for a fairly anxious first time mom like myself. I also loved that there is some curriculum and structured activities every day to promote learning or has a holiday theme. During the summer sometimes they will have bounce house days, inflatable pool days, and BBQs for the kids. Their playground area is very large-there is an area for each age and classroom. I also like that they incorporate music lessons, art time, dance teachers, and theater into the weekly schedule.

We have been at Building Kidz for almost 3 months now, and we still love it. I can't say enough about the teachers in the infant/toddler room - they are absolutely amazing! The place is cleaned nightly by a cleaning crew, and I always see the teachers cleaning as well - so the cleanliness and sanitation is top notch. We are so happy to have found Building Kidz - we hope to have another little one in the next few years, and I already know where his/her daycare will be!!

Ah Building Kidz. You deserve 10 stars and beyond. I didn't know how much I really appreciated the school, the staff, and the curriculum. Recently planning to move, so I toured about 5-6 schools in the east bay, mainly in Castro Valley and Hayward area. And base on their Yelp reviews (4.5 stars to 5 stars), you would assume the school can be comparable. Oh man I was totally wrong. I have not seen ONE school as good as Building Kidz.

We have a specially designed classrooms for children who are between the ages of 24 months and 3 years old.

The schedule for the toddlers is flexible as we follow a toddler’s specific needs. We focus on gross motor skills such as walking and step climbing with our inside play structure, and independent skills such as potty training as we use cloth diapers.

Our Preprimary classroom is a multiage environment for children 3-6 years old. That is preschool through kindergarten all in one! Each year builds on the privious year and is completed when your child is 6 years old.

Teachers get to know your child's specific needs during this unique experience and are able to meet an individual's developmental needs.

After multiple years in the preprimary environment children are ready to be leaders while they continue to grow. Children graduating from our program meet or exceed state standards for kindergarten and learn to love school and learning.

At Beginnings & Beyond we understand the need for families to have the option for summer enrollment. Our Summer program is offered separate from our school year, running from mid July through mid August for 7 weeks. Summer tuition is by the week to assist families who would like to take a vacation yet is comparable to our monthly tuition . Meet Danyelle Coach! She is the Center Director at Concord KinderCare in California. Danyelle attended Diablo Valley College, where she earned her teacher and director certifications. She has been with KinderCare since 1985, and before that she was a teacher and a program specialist. “Family - a little bit crazy, a little bit loud, a whole lot of love.” Outside of work, Danielle enjoys reading, camping, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
