Take a theatrical journey through a diverse and inclusive landscape of American theater with our talented BIPOC ensemble. There are no scripts in our show. Instead, our cast members will use your audience suggestions to improvise one singular story. Then, without hesitation, they will take your story suggestion and reinterpret it using the iconic theatrical styles of three preeminent BIPOC American playwrights, Luis Alfaro, David Henry Hwang, and Lorraine Hansberry. Our diverse cast will explore the universal themes at the heart of each playwright's work and amplify the BIPOC point-of-view through comedy storytelling.


Boyle Height Anthology is an exciting, new devised narrative show which explores the rich culture and lived experiences of the Boyle Heights community through improvised characters from beyond the grave. A completely made-up experience, audience members will meet the residents ofEvergreen Cemeteryat the beginning of each show. From there, we will ask for a simple suggestion from you, our audience, and our talented cast will create stories about their characters’ lives in the moment.
