She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands in communication disorders and her graduate degree from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked with individuals in various settings including the public schools, skilled nursing facilities, post-acutre care, and in private practice.

Semetrah is a naturally welcoming and empathetic person, creating a space of collaboration and respect for her clients. She spends time building relationships with her clients so they feel safe to try new things and explore how to acheive an optimal quality of life. Semetrah is also very dedicated to providing the very best care, and regularly participates in continuing education to ensure she is delivering efficient and effective evidence-based therapy personalized to each client's needs.
