4worldlovers: The City operates with a Council-Manager form of government, where the City Council appoints the City Manager. The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City and to ensure that the policies developed by the City Council are executed. The City Council also appoints a City Attorney who is responsible for advising the City Council on legal issues affecting Victorville.

The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requires each agency to post a single Form 806 (FPPC Regulation 18705.5 amended March 2012).
