Our programs tailor to all levels – from beginner to advanced – providing top-quality equestrian education. At Equestrians Excellence LLC, we believe horseback riding is more than just being a passenger. We strive to guide our students to become the effective and confident equestrians we know they can be.

Our lesson horses are rescued and have been wholly rehabilitated from terrible states and places. Through much time, patient rehabilitation and retraining have lent way for these horses to become fabulous lesson horses. As the horses learn to trust humans again, they also develop a unique connection/bond with the riders. The special relationship between horse and rider is impossible to describe with words: so you will have to come and experience it for yourself.

30 Minutes or 45 minutes private lessons are one-on-one training with a professional instructor.

45 Minutes Group Lesson with 1 to 2 other riders of similar riding skills and age.

Six sessions of pony camp this summer! Ages 6-13, Monday -Thursday, 9 am- 2 pm. Extended days are available for campers over the age of 9. Only eight spots are available for each session.

They are taught by a professional equestrian with over 25+ years of experience.

A pilot program we are trying designed for the rider wanting more time in the saddle. This offers a monthly membership that is similar to a horse lease but instead your membership allows you to chose different horse ride on your lease day/time.

Ride On teaches adaptive horseback riding to children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. We also provide Physical, Occupational & Speech and Language therapy, specializing in using the movement of the horse to improve specific medical conditions.

Founded in 1994, Ride On has given over 138,900 safe, effective and individualized lessons and therapy treatments and currently serves 225 individuals each week. Ride On teaches adaptive horseback riding to children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities and we provide Physical, Occupational & Speech and Language therapy specializing in using the movement of the horse to improve specific medical conditions. Ride On is the only nationally accredited program offering Physical, Occupational & Speech and Language Therapy in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We operate in two locations: serving the Conejo Valley, our 13-acre Newbury Park site is operated in partnership with the Conejo Recreation and Park District while in the San Fernando Valley, our Chatsworth location is home to our 3-acre ranch.

Adaptive or therapeutic riding is a unique combination of sport, recreation, and education. Specially trained PATH International qualified instructors use their knowledge of disabilities to teach horsemanship skills to riders with varying ability levels.

Physical, Occupational & Speech and Language Therapy uses the horse’s movement and sensory input for improving function. It is one of several treatment strategies that a therapist can use as part of a treatment plan.

We currently offer mounted and unmounted programs to post 9/11 Veterans funded through The Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit that offers programs and support services to wounded Vets. We also welcome Veterans and Vet groups to volunteer, giving them an opportunity to learn about horses and help other Veterans and children.

Ride On offers lessons for the siblings of our riders as well as the general public. Our certified instructors and gentle horses are perfect for all those wishing to take beginner or intermediate English or western style lessons.
