Mary’s Help empowers, supports and assists young adults to prepare for emancipation after foster care services end. Our purpose is to provide a safe and supportive environment and a solid start for young adult life-long journey to reach maturity and happiness. Mary’s Help provides support and stability during the transition process and assists with emotional stability, self-sufficiency, independent living, education and job search and employment. Mary’s Help accepts young adults and non-minor dependents from any County in California.


Mary’s Help is a Transitional Housing Placement Program licensed by the State Department of Social Services to provide comprehensive case management services to young adults in placement providing services for (NMD) and young adults 18-21 years of age. Mary’s Help is designed to provide trauma informed, culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate services to young adults that are referred from County Juvenile Courts and Child Welfare. Mary’s Help has extensive experience working with young adults (NMD) from eighth grade to high school graduation and beyond since 1996.


The future can be uncertain and dangerous for youth transitioning from the child foster care and/or juvenile court system without specific guidance and self-sufficiency skills. Many experience poverty, homelessness, and incarceration.

In addition to housing, Mary’s Help provides participants with assessment, education, job skills, coaching, counseling and instruction.
