Petco Vallejo has one of the best customer service in fish-aquatic department. Knowledgeable and informative. Because of the service, I bought a whole set up to bring my 33 gallon up and running. If I wasn't informed about water treatment and preparation before buying expensive fish, they are probably dead in two or three days. I decided to start with fresh water as it was suggested for beginners. And I agree to see how far would take me as a new aqua enthusiast. Who knows, I maybget another for salt water fish next time.


I took my Yorkie in today for a full service, haircut,shampoo,etc... His Groomer name was Danielle, she Butchered my dog. He went in a lovely Yorkie, but came out looking like a Chihuahua. I mean she cut off all of his hair, he had ball spots in his hair, hair longer in different spot,she missed certain spot. Nails weren't not cut. For a person to so called be the best groomer there she's reminds me of a first day employee. Don't waste your time taking your animal here or having her cut them

While the customer service was exceptional, this store lacks most supplies. Everything i needed for my new puppy was out of stock. Abd there wasnt enough variety. I could have just gone to Wal-Mart.

Bad service at grooming I took my puppy and they didn't even want to bathe him and cut his hair and they kept him for 3 hours or so there are rubbish those who work at grooming I don't recommend that service there rubbish

The main reason I shop at Vallejo Petco are the employees! Aaron is always super friendly and a really nice employee to talk to. He is super attentive to everyone waiting in line and has a great attitude towards customers who need help or have questions. I see a lot of employees come and go but the few staff members who have been there a long time a great and really know their stuff. Big thank you to Aaron and the employees who help me when I shop there!

I went into the Vallejo Petco to purchase canned dog food. Normally I shop at another company pet store, but due to manufacturing issues with the brand I feed I went into the Vallejo PETCO because they have the canned food I needed instock. I asked to price match (which has never been an issue for the close to 20 years I have shopped at Petco) and was told by one of the manager “no, your not worth loosing my job for” and he walked away and wouldn’t even finish helping me. This comment is VERY rude and his lack of customer service is beyond poor. I know the name of the manager who did this but do not want to post it publicly at this point. If Petco is willing to rectify this issue with me I will not mention a name. Again, I am very unhappy with the customer service I received at the Vallejo Petco. Also the “price match” guarantee on the Petco website says the complete opposite of what this manager said to me.

Friendly staff at this facility, they were nice and professional. Treated my pets with care and respect. Gentle staff and patience, my dogs enjoyed their experience.
